Review: Tiesto @ Medley

I'm not a Tiesto fan, so this out of the way, this one was one of the best nights this year.

Finally a promoter got it right.

Large spaces, excellent venue, spectacular lightshow and vjing, ALCOHOL, Tiesto (EDM) and a good soundsystem.

I didn't expect much when going to Medley, but once I stepped in, I knew this was a solid party.

For those who missed it, tooooo bad

For other promoters, take this as a warning, because if GEM and Godskitchen redo this, they'll win the market hands down.

I got there ... just asked around . hard to find english speaking peopel lol
first time partying in montreal
and one of the best, if not the best, of 2005

Not a big fan of Tiesto, but DAMN... Filthy Track selection, WOW.

Main thing, he actually played Schiller - Das Glockenspiel (Humate Remix). he played that at Innercity back in '99, HOLY SHIT, always wanted to hear that live.

Venue was extraordinary, although packed at the beginning, was still ok. Sick lighting, Screens and Sound System was pretty good.

Other tracks i remember that really hit me, That weren't Tiesto productions,
Carrie Skipper - Time Goes By (Super8 Deep Mix)
First State - First State
Mark Norman - Touchdown
Nicholas Hardling - Blue Signals
Above and Beyond Vs Andy Moor - Air for Life (Mirco De Govia Remix)

Other then that, Damn, ALOT of tracks i had no clue... In My opinion, music wise, probably the best set ive heard so far.

The sound was nice not so bad too ... he din't played a lot of is commercial stuff, execpt at the end ...

But everything Malek said is absolutely right - here's what i previously wrote:
No matter WHO screwed up at Circus, something was done to fix it - and like i said and some others said before, this is the first time it happens.
The night wasnt packed, the venue was nice, people were better than other regular tiesto crowds i've seen and the mood was pretty good....
soooooooo, even if you hate tiesto or dont appreciate his music (like me for example) there's much more to an event than traffic and adagio for strings.
medley was quiet good actually. and he did play for 4 hours n a half...

The tiesto-fans (girls) were - as usual - wow...pretty refreshing for the eyes.

House-Pacifique crew filmed the event? Weird, i didnt see anyone walking around with a camcorder last night.
I'll check out the video on house-pacifique...

Am kind of excited that something like last night happened.
Alcohol + edm + good venue + 'apology party' = perfect...

oh, and traffic was played seph - :P
