Obligatory "Most Underrated Track of 2005" Thread

I say Paragliders - Fisheye or Luke Fair - Bloc Rock.

Posted by basd on Dec-23-2005 12:44:

Kike Pravda - Main control

Very good track, haunting, driving and well-produced. Yet I haven't heard it been played in any live set I've heard (either by being there or downloaded). Too bad.

ace da brain - magic waters, defo defo defo....

Purple Haze - Adrenaline

Even though it has received some attention, i feel that this track has not been given the credit that it deserves.

Fisheye is pure goodness

If I had to choose one, I would pick up Fairychild - Lilavo Dvijenie.

And It's also my favorite one this year, easily.

It would be nice too if everyone post a short sample of the tune

MAS 2008 - Lifeform

For thinking up the sickest bassline since Hallucinogen - LSD. Can't really hear it in the sample, but...yeah.

Posted by Soeder on Dec-23-2005 15:30:

Neotechnik - Koinomia

Posted by Ultravibe! on Dec-23-2005 15:39:

Lonestar - New Kicks, just an amazing track!

Yes. Indeed. He's a great producer and this one is maybe the best melodic tune in 2005.

"Max Graham - I Know You're Gone" for me. There's a lot of fanboys of it here on TA (including me), but elsewhere no one seems to have noticed it's the best record to have come along in quite a few years.

Imho.

Huggotron - Glasshouses, great minimal tune.

Beck - Still Missing (Ryksopp Remix)

Anyone? Helloooooooooo! Maybe I'm just biased.

Posted by punjabi on Dec-23-2005 19:41:

mojado - senorita (mr. sam vision mix)

one of my favorite tracks of all time actually

Cosmo Kid - Neon Pressure [Haak Remix] - not much talk outside of TA?
Quest - String Theory
Soul Tan feat. Stephane Vezna - How Long [Steve Porter Remix]

Has there been much talk of those [well, maybe besides the Haak remix for obvious reasons]

I'm not sure I would call it underrated, exactly, but I do think it's one of the top five of the year, and hasn't really been widely recognized as such. Nothing else in the past year sounds quite like it, or does what it does.

Wow, really nice selection. I quite like this one, and am surprised I haven't heard it either.
