*The Short*
Location: Perry Sound (2 Hours North of Toronto)
Date: Feb 24th, 5pm - Feb 26th 10am
Cost: $30

Description:
Beautifully one of a kind, this new 6,000 square foot log chalet nestled in the Canadian Shield on Lake Manitouwabing is located just 2 hours north of Toronto Airport. It is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family reunion or a corporate retreat. Fully winterized with attention to every creature comfort, it is available year round, and offers excellent privacy.

The entrance to the cottage is a comfortably furnished screened in porch in the summer. In the winter it serves as a storage area for firewood and other necessities. At the rear you will find a two level wrap around deck, perfect for sunbathing and lounging in the two-person hammock. Lighted stairs down to the boathouse for evening swims. The 1500 square foot boathouse has an upper deck that is furnished with lounge chairs, patio table with umbrella and bar stools. A gate provides access to the water from the top of the boathouse. Stairs to the lower level of the boathouse lead onto a landing and from there you can go into the boathouse or onto the docks on either side. The water is approximately 20 feet deep off the end of the boathouse. There is a small sandy shallow area for smaller swimmers but adult supervision is a necessity at all times.

The Great Room is the perfect room for relaxing, reading and quiet reflection. It is adjacent to the dining room and the centerpiece of the room is a twenty foot high stone fireplace and the rotunda ceiling is beautifully designed in log and pine. Enjoy a roaring fire or the beautiful views from several picture windows! The dining room has a large granite dining table, seating for 12 or more people and is lit by either electric or candle light from the magnificent custom designed cast iron chandelier that spans almost the entire table. The chairs are covered in fitted leather hides.

The complete gourmet kitchen has all the appliances and amenities. It is masterfully designed and pays attention to the flow of traffic, making cooking and cleaning easy. It is fully loaded with top of the line appliances. The built in island and seating area is ideal for relaxing breakfasts or a quick snack. There is a wet bar with wine fridge and assortment of wine glasses and other bar needs. Sliding glass doors onto upper wrap around deck offer an excellent view of the lake. There is a natural gas barbecue and outdoor patio set ( barbecue hooked directly to the main line, no need to ever worry about running out). Fresh spring well ( 360 feet deep ) has been fully tested by the Ministry has always passed.

The master bedroom features a uniquely designed cave-like bathroom with a two person Jacuzzi and a dual sided gas fireplace for you to enjoy the warmth while in the bath or in the king size bed. There are 2 Bunk Rooms (for the kids?) and each of these double, extra length bunks was designed to allow for maximum comfort and privacy. A bed light in each bunk enables one person to read and another to sleep without being disturbed. There are 4 bunks in each room. These dorms are also each equipped with a queen-sized bed to maximize sleeping space. Both rooms have enormous closets with plenty of storage for clothing and gear. Dorms share a bathroom patterned after the master bedroom bath, made to look like a cave and is equipped with a double person Jacuzzi and shower. A third bedroom on the lower level with a king size bed has sliding glass doors that lead onto the lower wrap around deck.

The exceptional recreation room features a stone fireplace that almost rivals the great room. You can enjoy a hot blazing fire while enjoying one of the several activities. On the 84 inch projection TV watch either the DVD player or satellite. If television is not your thing, relax with one of the hundreds of books from the fully stocked shelves. You could also play snooker or pool on the 4' x 8' billiards table. Whatever you choose, this room makes those nights at the cottage as special as the days spent outside on the water.

The loft has a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding area and has a quiet seating area. The stereo control for the cottage is also located in the loft. The laundry room is located on the lower level and includes washer and gas dryer. A full size fridge is located near the recreation room for extra storage.

The 1,500 square foot boat house is newly constructed, and has a 22 foot slip accommodating an 18 - 20 foot boat. Various sizes of life jackets and some wet suits are available, as is a wake board, tubing (at your own risk). There is a free floating swim platform off to the side of the boathouse. The lower dock has 2 swim ladders for easy access. A marina (boat rentals available but book early!) with small convenience store is 8 minutes from the cottage and all boat launching is done from this marina. The cottage is 50 feet from the water. The fishing is excellent - Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Lake Trout. There is a 9 hole golf course 10 minutes away, horseback riding, snowmobile trails, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, dog sledding, mountain biking and sea kayaking are all nearby. You are within 20 minutes of the 30,000 Island cruise, Museum Festival of the Sound, Rainbow Theatre, Restaurants, Shopping.

***THE RULES***
People:
Those that have expressed interest to come are below. Only TA's and friends who can be trusted allowed. Myself and Dan reserve the right to ask anyone to leave.

Problems with the event:
1) The cottage has a capacity of 15 people (ie sleeps 15 technically) there is lots of room for everyone, and is bigger then the one in the summer. We thought are only allowed to have 15 people and 3 guests. If someone comes and says we have to leave, well we have to go. I personally think this is a 5% chance that this will happen.

*Update*
We are no longer worrying about a deposit

DJ's:
Right now, those that are comming to the event will have the oppertunity to play music. The Small games house will be the main music area with a feed into the main house for lounge/chill room (and sleeping)

Details to dated and times and all that will get worked out. I need to know how many people want to play THAT ARE ALREADY ON THE LIST TO COME TO THE EVENT

If there is not alot of people there, we will open up the house to some more DJ's to provide music. Im not dealing with who plays what and what music is played and all that bull now, another time please.

Please PM me if you want to play music there, even if you dont dj.

***DJ Times to be posted Here***

***Will updated depending on new costs***
Cost: The Total Cost will be Approxx $30 each person if we cap at 60 people. 30*60 = $1800. Cottage Rental = 1500+, Equipment Rental = $, deposit on cottage = $350, Insurence $50.

Any money collected can be at the door.

*Updated*
Total amount to be brought = $30
