djx2 - December Trance Mix

Here is my December Trance Mix for those interested. Starts off with some Progressive Trance and builds to Trance. Tunes where picked ramdomly as i went along and was completely unplanned. If you fancy a CD PM me your address stating "December Trance Mix". As i've currently run out of CD's they will be sent out after Xmas. Anyway hope you enjoy and have a good Xmas!!

Didn't listen but ur ID for track 3 is completely incorrect...

Sorry, bit of a typo on my part, put it says on Audio Jelly Shawn!!

Lol there's loads of quality mixes about at the mo, especailly on IO's forums!! Hope you enjoy em when you finally get the time to listen to them!!

very good mix here. thanks. will check out vol. 2 soon but this one is quite nice. you always bring the quality with your mixes. they arn't always fine tuned in the way i like but the tunes and flow are there.

critiques:
i thought the first two mixes were off key a bit. i'm not an expert with identifying keys but i can tell when they're off quite easily and these two seemed off to me.

while i LOVE Irony by Ozgur i found that it was a bit of a drop in energy and was a bit of a weird tune to throw in at that point.

other than that though this was quality all the way. thanks again djx2 and can't wait to check out vol. 2.

Thanks for the feedback mate, much appreciated!! All points taken on board Can see where your coming from with the Irony track and probably would of played it before Strange Candy if i was to do it again. Hope you enjoy part 2 and have a great New Year!!

Hi mate,
Generally a nice mix, just a few comments to make.

1) I felt that there were too many styles of trance within the mix but that is just a personal point of view. It started with a breakbeat style, then into a housey-trance, then uplifting. I used to do that but i never felt it flowed that well. But its only my opinion.

2) As a result of 1) the mixing was a bit off beat and didn't particularly sound right

3) And finally after track 6 i thought i was a great mix....Nice one!

As i have said these are only my opininions and i don't mean to be too critical.

The cue file you've posted for this mix is actually the cue for Part 2


Just downloaded the mix, will listen to it and comment soon.

I'm d/l'ing this mix and Part 2. Look forward to hearing it (probably later in the weekend or on Mon.) and will comment after I give it a listen.

With all due respect, the first two tracks are extremely boring. I hope this mix picks up soon. I'm about 14 min. into it so far.

Cheeres again mate! Kinda agree the first track does feel alittle out of place was really meant as an example of a warm up mix.
