Im new to trip hop , though ive always digged it.
and i know this is a trance message board,

just wondering if anyone know of any trip hop boards,links or some threads here i could read up on im basically just looking for the right choice of soft synth for those weird synths.

Synths are synths, there's nothing special about any of them that's specific to trip hop. In fact, trip hop really is much more heavy on effects than synths, and most effects are done ad hoc.
