Destination Trance®

Hello everybody, I've mixed together an enjoyable compilation of tunes which I hope you'll like. In this mix I feature a little bit of everything from your classic trance all the way to a more tech-trance vibe with a side of euphoric in between. Overall, I had a great time making this mix and a lot of stress in my life also helped make this mix a reality. Anyways have fun listening to my set and I'd like to know what you guys think. See ya and have a merry xmas!

Tracklist:
1) Y Traxx - Mystery Land
2) BT - Flaming June
3) Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiesto Remix)
4) Modulation - Spirits (Slusnik Luna Remix)
5) Afterburn - Northpole
6) Kosheen - Catch (Ferry Corsten Remix)
7) Haylon - Starfighter (Jonas Steur Remix)
8) Nu Nrg - Freefall

This mix is encoded at just 128 kbps. Also, it is 91:27 long. The thread starter should mention this important info.

Love the tracklist! Downloading now.

Read This!

Okay, I got done with the mix and except maybe that opening track I loved everything else. Even though some people smite on Love Comes Again, I really love that track. Mixing....I heard a couple of "no-beat" parts where you used to mix it in. But hell, you're still a far better DJ than I am. Overall I loved the mix. Great job, man. Next time though, try to make it under 80 minutes so it can be burned to CD. KBPS doesn't mean anything to me really. Till the next one!

DA.

Thanks for the comments DA! There were a few transitions I wasn't happy with either so next time I'll be sure to address that issue as well. As far as beatmatching is concerned, I will place more emphasis into that for the next mix.

the TL was promising, so downloaded this one.
I like the idea of starting with some classics (flaming june rox) and the whole concept. great work.
I've got one thought while listening: How about mixing synths of Everlast and Close Horizon? I mean sth like 60:56(Everlast)->66:34(Close Horizon), but synths could be mashed up more as well IMHO.

Loved the set mate, on the whole i thought the mixing was spot on, partly down to the fact you clearly though of all your tracks and how they would go together. Top stuff! (y)

Kbps don't mean anything to you? Ummm ... OK. For those with discerning ears and semi-decent speakers, 192 kbps or above, please.

Very good mix stevie. Some great classic tracks in there. I hate southern sun (lol) but most all the others were great to hear again. Mixing was very good in my opinion. While some transitions weren't beat mixed they still did their job well. The intro song sounds very similar chicane tune, not sure exactly which. Anyway great fukkin job on this mate, will keep this around.

as for the kbps; 192 is the min and doesn't cause the file to be that much better. personally i used my computer and headphones and it sounded great.

I'm guessing harmonic/key mixing between those two songs if my dj terminology is correct. Thanks for the creative tip. I'll keep that in mind for the next one and thanks for your comments.
