Oregon Trail

Im looking to buy Oregon Trail, but which version should I get, Oregon Trail II or Oregon Trail 5th Edition?

Haha...that game brings back memories of playing it on old Apple II's, I'm surprised you can even still buy it.

I'm sure you can get it for free somewhere on tha intarweb...I mean, they've had, what, 15 years to h4x0r it?

hahahah, I remember hunting and always taking the river route instead of going the long way around. We'd play in computer lab in elementary school and have races to see who could finish the game first - which ofcourse meant moving the wagon way too fast and having everybody get sick and die. "Jake was bitten by a rattlesnake"

Anyone remember that other Apple IIE game where you were a fish and could only eat fish smaller than you...I forget the name.

hell yeah man, that game was great.. i forgot the name too though. once you're that big-ass fish you can eat anything

I remember that game, it was like playing a screen saver, I was always a shark. I don't know what it was called either.

so anyways, did you guys ever play a game that was a copy of oregon trail, only you were competing in a dogsled race? and you had an eskimo team mate that you could pick out?

^ never heard of it. But I remember that Ski game for windows 3.1 where the monster always caught and ate you at the end.

I always died 3/4 to Oregon I think by famine...fucking famine always get me

ROFL @ this game! I didn't think playing it was funny at the time but now that I look back at it, wow. What a classic.

how on Earth did you manage that? Hunting was the must fun part of the game, and bullets were really cheap.
