Airbase has always defined trance music in my humble opinion. Even though times and styles change, he's always remained dedicated to the purer elements in trance.

And I owe him a great debt forever for his remix of Iio - Smooth, which is one of my favorite tracks of all time.

It's a decent track. you can clearly hear influences from various tunes such as:
Sonic Inc. - The Taste of Summer (Fire & Ice remix)
Solid Sessions - Janeiro
David Forbes - Questions Must Be Asked

still I think Chamberlain could have made a larger impact if it was released 5 years ago.

The whole point of the track is to bring back some of those 99 feelings, it wasn't meant as a track to be released today. We (a bunch of producers) had a little friendly competition, trying to make a 99 inspired trancer.

Great gift Jezper.Thnx a lot

It's a pretty cool tune and alot better than his recent 2005 productions which I find poor at this time.

Totally. I thought that I was listening too Janeiro in the first place and then when it came too the melodic part in the break, I got a clear The Taste of Summer-feeling, So yes, you're not wrong when saying this.

Glad you dig it. And yes, 8 Wonders is right, making it sound 99ish was the point.

I havent heard Taste Of Summer, dont even know the track.

great track !

Posted by DiMethGuy on Dec-26-2005 18:34:

man for the love of God why can't trance go back to these sounds? Listenining to the TOP 20 tunes of 2005 made me realize how far I'm drifting away from modern day productions.

Posted by Nell on Dec-26-2005 18:45:

elements sounding a bit too similar to janeiro for me to judge it on its own merit. not bad

Posted by Satelllite on Dec-26-2005 20:29:

I like it!
btw it has 'Touched by a sun' influence for me
am I the only one?

Oh YEESSSSSSSS!!!

BRING TEH FUCKING '99 BACK!!1!!

Why shouldn't these be released today? There are so much boring shit (tech-trance (sorry )) released nowadays, so I would be pleased to buy this kind of great stuff.

WAY 2 GO JEZPER!
