how the fuck does crouch get only a yellow card?!?!?!
and why is bowyer still on the team?

I didn't even bother watching this match, and apperantly I made the wrong decision.

What happened?

At first I thought Bowyer had went in on Alonso 2 footed but watching the replays I don't think it was and I don't believe it was an intentional foul. Cue Crouch running up and knocking Bowyer to the ground with a shove and the Liverpool players swarming around the referee, result: Bowyer red carded and Crouch only gets Yellow!

Doesn't matter anyway, Liverpool were far superior to Newcastle in the first half, some lovely football played!

crouch should have definately recieved the red card! bowyer im not too sure but since i hate the guy i dont mind having him red carded and not see him play for a couple of games at least. liverpool are superior to newcastle but much of it is thanks to our terrible terrible defence (not that other parts of the field are performing well). given deserves much more than that!

Still, this shouldn't happen.

I agree (that Bowyer shouldn't have been red-carded). I was the only one in the pub saying that mind haha...

I really don't think his foul was that bad, but seen as he is a horrible little rat, I don't care. Shearer can fuck off too the dirty bastard, he gets away with murder every game.

If only Fulham could have held Chelsea to 2-2 today

steven gerrard gets away with plenty shit as well. ive noticed that reputation plays a great role in the premiership. but regarding football we were totally outclassed everywhere on the pitch today. liverpool are looking fantastic.

Chelsea got a goal flagged away for offside or something like that today, but they did score one hell of a goal after that beautiful pass too Crespo. What a beauty it was.

I do feel sorry for Fulham, they played very well and even got their goalkeeper injured so that he had too leave the field.

Gerard really really isn't that bad, he's made a few rash tackles in the past (Boateng and Naysmith) but he's matured a lot since then, I'd say he's firm but fair these days....

i wasnt comparing gerard with bowyer i was comparing him with shearer. and yeah i agree he gets away with alot but c'mooooon
bowyer on the other hand is a prick that should not be allowed to play football, in fact he shouldnt play in team sports... or be around people at all when i think about it.

As I said, I don't think Bowyer deserved red, and yes I too was shocked at Crouch and to a lesser extent Stevie's actions, but you've got you're best barcode glasses on if your suggesting Shearer isn't a dirty **** mate

Didnt say he wasnt dirty, was stating how you can call Shearer and not your own, and is the barcode malarky supposed to be offending? Tis weak.

Bowyer is a filthy ****** and his reputation influenced the ref .ref got it totally wrong.

Crouch only didn't go because bowyer fell to the floor like a pansy. If we're on about dirty ****s, well yes, shearer has had his fair share of lucky moments in the years, but Essien is by far the worst offender at the moment. He should've got a 10 game ban for his lunge on ben haim alone. Funny thing is this is the guy who went on strike at lyon incase he got injured b4 the chelski move.

Essien is a bit wild with his tackling, but Shearer is dirtier. He's the snidiest player in that he's always having little digs and using his elbows, which either the ref doesn't see, or is too scared to do anything about.
