I am going to sound really out-of-the-loop here, but what does e-craig play? I was thinking trance/tech trance...is that close?

pretty much, very "katana-ish" I think if anybody is bringing him out it would be majik, no idea when tho.

Didn't even know E-Craig DJ's .. i assumed it would be tech-trance based on productions.

Awesome Can't wait to see Katana when he comes out next year (if the rumour I've heard is true!), so def keen to see e-craig if he plays similar.

Katana didn't end up playing in Sydney from memory. So yeah, I missed him. Mid 2006 seems to be a big possibility though

Katana played the same night as Gatecrasher in Sydney but at GAS didnt he?

i saw him twice and both times he was pretty good, not the best techincally ( DJING wise ) but still dropped some nice tracks, no offense to him or his fans but he is one of those producers that DJ's because he gets a few shows from ppl... In Silence FTW

This is pretty much what i had expected i would think of him from the live sets i had heard of him and the tracklists i had seen; had been told he was awesome at hi fi bar tho?

he was pretty good, like i said before i think it was more his track selection that kept me interested, not neccesarily his ability to keep the crowd involved and interested. dont mean too sound harsh or wateva but when i was there there were probably only like 10 ppl who were there for his acutal music, the rest were pretty much off their chops, and a kind of, dare i say it, evolution crowd.

oh well, he still deserved a much better crowd than he got, go randy!!

if he is in your town i would say go and see him, if for nothing else the energy and happiness he has!! always smiling is katana
