When I post stuff, alot of people typically complain that I'm not making trance the way I used to... hopefully this will satisfy you lot aswell.
Check the lyrics for info...
Oh, and may the gods give you bad karma if you listen and don't post.
ow yes, it sure satisfied me =). it's stuck on repeat for a couple of times now. I read you're not really finished with it, well, don't change a lot. it has good potential. I like the main drive to it, simple yet good trance!
looking forward to the full version soon! =>
btw, I didn't know 'then the rain came'. ehmm... wow? what a great laidback tune that is! a bit short tho =<.
sooo, what's with my karma now?
very nice clip, laidback and present at the same time.

I first noticed how tender and simple the lead synths are. Vocals wouldve been great with the track until it got to the break...maybe consider reworking it for female vocals? You have the proper and simple elements there so go ahead and use it to your advantage. I like the percussion work a lot, it's what keeps the track moving imo.
Looking forward to updates,
Amurai
A dose of classic trance is always good to hear now and then.
Nice clip! I agree with Manvel about the synths, notably the lead- they're very basic but sit very nicely with one another, throws you back a couple years. The lead stabs sound very PvD too! Percussion is nothing groundbreaking but definitely solid stuff to keep the tune flowing along nicely. Good stuff, you've definitely got a rigid foundation to work with.. looking forward to hearing any additions!
This is some pretty straight up trance alright. To be honest, I prefer the crisp production in tracks like this to the wall of sound mentality of a lot of todays trance. Very Subtle and elegant track really. Not too many elements in it and whats there works well.
If I was to make a crit, it would be that it lacks the groove and swing of a lot of classic trance. The kick and bass are too 4/4 to really label it as classic style, but I see where you are going with it.

PvD's stuff is that of true talent, and some of his works are some of my absolute favourite tracks (his piano mix of Face 2 Face for instance is absolutely amazing). I agree with you on the percussion comment though, nothing ground-breaking atm, as I've basically just tried to lay a foundation that will build drive, whilst all sitting nicely together without clashing or feeling off, level- or eq-wise. As mentioned above, the percussion needs some work, and I also need to work in some atmospherics to help the buildup deliver more power, aswell keep it after the crescendo. Again, thanks for the kind words and feedback.

I'll agree with you that it's mostly drive and not much bounce to it, I'm hoping adding some percussion work will help resolve part of that issue, but I'm also thinking that alot of what made the actually rather progressive melodic trance of back then so great, was that it had such brilliant cooperation between cool bassy effects and wonderfully chunky basslines and some distinct elements in their percussions. I'd say "acid" but I don't think it'd sit all too well in this track.
very fine track!!!

Very cool, chillout type trance. Wouldn't call it full on trance, more just laidback relaxing trance. Good work.
Rusch.. this is mint man! This is the way I love my trance, way to go broseph
.
Reminds me of Artificial Intelligence...which I had the clip on repeat for hours. Way to go Rusch, I like the simplicity which both tracks carry, shows exactly what is necessary to make a great trance track, and what isn't. :P
well
dosent sound special
like pvd stuff bip bip
