Trance Lead Help

Hi,

Im having real trouble getting my leads to sit right in the mix everything else is fine its just the lead and synth sounds part, is there any tips out there? hehe i use fruity reverb and bionic delay at the mo on my leads and synth sounds.

Thanks

What are you using for your lead? It may just not sound good. I have found that Reaktor sounds the best "cough INFECTION v3 cough" and gets nice leads that fit anywhere. Expensive though, like 500.

Hope things work out.

Are you using EQ? What about compression (often necessary). Can you post an example? It's hard to give general advice when I don't know what the problem is.

eq .. remove da lows from da lead , add some highs .. (play 'n see what sounds better) .. and compress it ..

you can use the eq of fruity .. and check the compressors out there and see which one suits ur needs ..

Bro, get Inspector and check in which frequency the lead is clashing...the plugin is free but very helpful for better mixing.
