yes he will be good cover, a loan deal sounds good as the ghanans didnt want essien flying back and worth on privet jet.

I think it's a bit of an exploit on the loan system to be honest. Loans are good for either young players to get experience, or people to join for a full season (eg diouf to us) with a view to a permanent deal, this looks more like a deal of convenience to a club who don't really need to be using this system
