Question for Concordia students...

I'm looking for a bullshit course to take in the Winter semester... Last semester I took INTE290 (Computer Applications online) and AHSC310 (Tourism in Canada) and I'm looking for another easy easy easy easy course to take just to boost the GPA.

Thanks!

I took ECON101 in my final semester and destroyed it. It's a course for people right out of cegep, and if you can draw the slope of a line, it's a sure A.

edit: sorry, it's called ECON201 - Microeconomics

derivatives? we're talking CONCORDIA micro here! There's none of that haha

ahhhh concordia...

Posted by fastmp3 on Jan-02-2006 22:58:

you sure buddy ? the one i took involved lots of derivatives, and of course i missed the shitty lab they offer at the beginning of the semester for those who never studied them or aren't good enough in maths ...

Posted by Bertuzz on Jan-02-2006 23:05:

really? Hmmm maybe you're right, it was a year or two ago I can't remember exactly. All I remember was supply/demand and they had a tutorial for those that didn't know how to graph with the x/y plane. But ya you're right, now that I think of it, getting the derivative is like getting the slope. I take it back.

(enough geek talk )

oh well I tried.

Try something in Exercise Science, I hear those are dumb easy (never did any).

I took SPAN 201 or something like that this past semester. It probably depends on how good you are at picking up languages, but the course reminded me a lot of high school french classes. and we all know what those were like.

Posted by fastmp3 on Jan-02-2006 23:25:

macro was damn easy for me, got it with A+

Hehe, i took Econ201 last semester and i got a B-. Im in engineering and i dont have too much knowledge in business, but it wasnt too bad ( I left everything till the last moment with this course )

There is an online course called World religion i believe, you should check that one out too. (almost took it instead of the economics course)

Posted by Bertuzz on Jan-03-2006 00:14:

I was in Eng too and we all left it to our last semester to take ECON..

Everyone either took ECON201 or MANA266 (try that maybe).

organized crime...i think its poli398??...its online and the materiel is fun as hell to read.

FINA 200, Personal Finance, is a piss easy course to work so I've heard. You'll do well if you know how to handle money.

All the best,

So far I've done in my first semester:

ECON201 (Microeconomics)
ECON221 (Stats 1)
AHSC310 (Tourism in Canada)
INTE290 (Computer Applications Online)

This semester I'm registered for:

ECON203 (Macroeconomics)
ECON222 (Stats 2)
MARK201 (Intro to Marketing)

I'll take a look into POLI298Z online, sounds interesting... But is there much work to do or is it just reading + quizzes + final exam?

Look at last fall's course outline via econcordia, should be the same for winter

i dont understand...taking whatever easy courses you can find...aren't you in a specific program ?

wouuuu

Organized crime is reading. Theres one take home mid-term worth 40%, a quiz thats 10% and a the final which is 50%. Mid term and final are made up of essay questions. I actually enjoyed reading the stuff. I dont enjoy reading in general

If you have any science background ..I suggest taking CHEM 208 I think. Its called Chemistry of Hazards. Super easy , super intersting. A+ all the way ....

If you didnt any chem courses , then youll do fine like a B, but must study a bit , mostly memorization.

Luck to you
