-- Acid?

Acid?

Yeah. What are some tracks with a lot of 303's in them? I'm thinking like Acperience, some Josh Wink stuff, it doesn't really matter as long as it's acid. I want.

Try everything from vibrasphere THIS year ,Phony Orphants - Rise is also good Miika Kuisma's Inwardgaze has Miami Nice

BK & Christopher Lawrence - Acid People

There is also plenty of Acid stuff on Tracid Traxx, but i don't know if that's what you are after.

I really enjoyed Kai Tracid - Pure Acid

Check out older stuff from the Platipus label, first of all Union Jack and the members' solo projects Terra Ferma and Art Of Trance. Especially these 3 albums (they are hard to get hold of though):

Union Jack - There Will Be No Armageddon
Terra Ferma - Turtle Crossing
Art Of Trance - Wildlife On One

Edit: A tune you have to hear if you haven't done it yet:
Choci - Acid Eiffel

13 minutes of acid perfection.

Lemon8 - Model8
Phuture - Acid Trax
and then you have System 7 - Alpha Wave (Plastikman Remix) , 19+minutes of acid goodness

Yeah, I thought about recommending ASYS stuff but then thought better of it, as from what he's asked for, it probably won't be what he wants

Alright, if you like some taste of goa in too..then there's this: V-Ger & Soma - Dark Tendencies
Best acid track I've ever, ever heard!! I love the monster acid riff it kicks in after the break, gets me shivering everytime!

I'd highly recomend this..

Cue Derek.

Acid Eiffel is a magnificent choice, by the way. It's by Choice though, not Choci. By the way, Choice = Shazz & Laurent Garnier.

Josh Wink's a good one too, but I see you already mentioned him.

Oohlala! I've just the thing for you!

Most commercial, overly hammered Acid tracks:

Phuture - Acid Trax
New Order - Confusion (Pump Panel Reconstruction mix)
Pump Panel - Ego Acid
Pump Panel - To The Sky
Hardfloor - Aceperience I
Kai Tracid - Trance & Acid
Drax - Amphetamine
Formic Acid - Eternia
A+E Dept - The Rabbits Name Was...
Damon Wild & Tim Taylor - Bang The Acid
Mory Kante - Yeke Yeke (Hardfloor Mix) - how can anyone possibly like these vocals?
Emmanuel Top - Turkish Bazar
Jones & Stephenson - The First Rebirth
Art Of Trance - Octopus
Choice - Acid Eiffel
Humanoid- Stakker Humanoid
Solar Quest - Acid Air Raid
Union Jack - Two Full Moons & A Trout
A*S*Y*S - Acid Nightmare
Plank - Acid Wars
Nexus 6 - Tres Chic EP
Misjah & Tim - Access
Maurice - This Is Acid
Josh Wink - Higher State Of Consciousness
Woody Mcbride - Basketball Heroes
Silent Breed (Thomas P. Heckmann) - Acid Fucker
Robert Armani - Circus Bells (Hardfloor remix)
Plank - Acid Wars
Nexus 6 - Tres Chic EP

Enjoy

I wouldn't say they're magnificent* they sound quite harrowing to me. And what of the dub? Still a shitty tune on the whole. All the same, I'm not one to argue with the populace..

He said "a lot of 303's". Like Acperience, which was made with three of them. Not like Acid Eiffel.

Of course, my memory slipped a little there.

Either way, it's a magnificent tune. And why don't you come up with some suggestions yourself instead of your usual complaining? Is it really that hard to come up with something constructive?

Posted by RebeL9 on Jan-03-2006 17:14:

I love the vocals in Yeke Yeke and Mogo Djolo. Well I like most stuff from Mory Kante!

Not complaining, correcting. And i'm being very constructive by trying to make sure the thread starter gets what he asked for.

Yeah, you're being very constructive. Indeed.

Yes. Very constructive indeed. Yes indeedy-do.

Posted by DJ Cinos on Jan-03-2006 17:58:

I DID say it didn't really matter, but yeah, more in the Acperience style would be nice.

Thanks for suggestions thus far.

Posted by AlphaStarred on Jan-03-2006 17:58:

I'm convinced the thread starter wanted something that abounds in acid, not necessarily something with multiple acidlines. I'm also convinced he'll derive a great delight from the tunes I'd posted. And although they've aptly been hammered to death, they're not necessarily all bad, they just appeal to the masses, like Cinos, and virtually everyone else here. Oh, and some or most of the tunes I'd posted have more than one acidline.

You're likely to enjoy the tunes I'd posted, then.

Posted by Radagast on Jan-03-2006 18:02:

If it's just any acid then...

Bass Junkie - Return Of The OVC
New Energy - Move Your Feet
Jeremiah - Exotic Intercourse

Hardfloor likes to do multiple acid lines a lot though, especially before 1995.

For some dark and more minimal acid I recommend Alexi Delano's Acid Sessions vol 1-3 from last year. "Acid Burning" and "Bounce To Acid" are my favs.
