Review: Armin at Red-Lite in Montreal

I know this is in Montreal but I know there are lots of Armin fans out there who might be curious about how it went.

We got to the club around 1130, which was way outside of Montreal!
Remember that if any of you are planning on going to a redlite party.
Also we were not at all ready for there being no booze at all. That was a rough part of the evening, but at least it saved us some cash!

The tunes at the beginning of the night were not that good. They were very hot and cold, sometimes being alright, and other times being repetitive.

But at 3am everything changed...
Armin came on and played U2-New years day followed by Zocalo, what an entrance!
The rest of the night was incredible...
The DJ booth was situated in a way so that you could get very close to the dj and see everything he was doing. We were front row centre the entire night and could interact with Armin really well.

His set was harder than I have ever heard him play before, which was something very different than usual Armin.
At the time we probably only knew 40 percent of the tracks, with the majority being ones I had never even heard before, which was great to hear lots of new music.

It was great to meet some people from Kingston(Ashley and Chris) and Lindsay from Ottawa.

Ran into Fran(Avikonen) completely randomly who had made the trek up from nyc.

Thanks to Fahad for the ride!
