Needing track selection help!!!

OK I've requested by a friend of mine to put together the music for when she walks down the aisle for her wedding. Now I don't have much in the way of chillout/ambient music, and don't know too much about it. I do mix my own cds occasionally, but mostly prog house or breaks, but have made a couple trance ones which she loves, which is why she asked me to do this.

So I'm asking the savants out there to furnish me with some recommendations in the way of 'good' chill/ambient mixes of classic trance tracks, or just good music of this sort in general.

This wedding is in just over a week, but it only needs to be maybe 10 mins long max. What you got for me tranceaddicts?

Chicane - Saltwater (Thrillseekers Remix)

how many tracks do u intend putting in this 10 minute mix?

Posted by Tweak on Jan-04-2006 07:15:

well im going to be editing them pretty heavily - taking snippets of melody and vocals. see how it goes.

thanks for the tips - i wanna try and make this pretty much beatless too

no offense but i dont think a wedding is the time for an Armin Ableton type mix effort. U want something cool and chilled for the isle, not a mash up. Id personally recommend one long track, or two at the most, mashing trance is bad enough without mashing chillout.

thanks, ill try it anyway, because that option will take me 3 seconds. if it's crap, i can always go back. this has been requested.

well if anyone was interested, i ended up using the breakdown of love theme dusk as an intro and outro, with libra - calling your name (solar stone chill mix), one of the brides fav songs, in the middle. after a little key adjustment, went down a hit with all and sundry.
