Get it ppl, the Treo 600 runs so much smoother and better then the 650!

The Treo 650 is a joke ... always choppy (cache problems), wireless mode goes offline when your are online and so much more annoying shit!

Example, you'll see the "please wait" more then anything ... sometimes you'll hit an app, nothing happens and then you hit another one. Nothing happens again and then you hit another app still nothing happens ... suddenly, it goes through all 3 apps. The worest is, your wireless mode is on, but next thing you know ... you've missed 10 calls.

Fuck the Treo 650! That's why I haven't upgraded it to it ... and trust me, I do my hwk on the Treos.

You can't sell the Treo 600 for more then 150.00, the Treo 700W is coming out very soon! That's why all the 650 are 300.00 now (with contract and shit)

Those are locked CDMA for Verizon and Sprint. The unlocked vers can work here ... so that's why it's higher. Yours is locked to Bell and since Bell is CDMA, you can't do shit with it unless your carrier is Bell.

since its from bell.. im guessing its the cdma version..

if you unlock it...
can't you choose between bell or telus that way at least?
I'm getting to understand this GSM vs CDMA and so forth business...

No you can't unlock CMDA phones ... only GSM. CDMA is locked forever to that carrier, plus even if you try to bring it to Telus, to use on their network ... they will refuse it.

Yeah I saw that. Although the new windows mobile 5 is pretty buggy still. So do you choose a limited more stable os(Palm), or a buggy memory hog(WM5)?

Never had any of these problems with my 650.

The stock e-mail app is a bit buggy, but that's on the 600 too and most people change it.

So it's only unlocked GSM phones that are accepted at either Rogers or Fido networks?

I was referring specifically to the Bell ones. I've seen em go for over 250.

a) I can get it from Bell for $99 w/ contract (contract is no big deal to me).

b) If I get from Bell it comes with 1 year, no questions warranty. From you, no warranty (warranty is not transferable).

c) If you can get $150+ for it elsewhere, go for it.

My $150 CAD$ offer stands. It is valid for 14 days. I will pick it up.

On January 19 - my offer becomes $125 CAD$.
