Atlta Cook Off

OK so since people are asking.... Here we go!!!

Mario is trying to punk out and I am not going let him do it!

So here is the story... About a month ago, Mario decided to get too big for his little britches and he wanted my title of ATLTA Chef. So he challenge me to a cook-off in front of everyone. We layed out some ground rules and decided that we were going to do it sometime in January. Well here we are....

So here is what we need....

We need a date and a location that will work for everyone. Here is the format:

We each prepare two dishes complete with sides and starters. A group of "judges" taste and decide who wins in a variety of categories. Or we can do it based on just taste because Mario is afraid that he will loose by default if it is presentation too. (Think iron chef without the one featured ingredient!) Winner take all..

So we need 14 judges (2 dishes that serve 4 each from each of the two cooks = 16 plates - 2 because Mario and I get to eat!) Each judge will get a taste (1/4 portion) of each dish. I think that the judges should "donate" to the save the cook foundation since Mario and I are both broke. Lets say $10. (Not bad for a 5 Star meal prepared by me and whatever crap you are going to get from Mario!)


So we need a date, location and judges...... Any ideas?!?

Ok here are good dates to choose from: ( any will do for me. I am ready to go today!) We just need to make sure they do not clash with major club dates!

I vote for Feb 4th or the 11th...

11th might not be good for me since valentine's day is right near that date

4th near my bday, and then we get wasted!

I think the location should be at my Place!

That is such a cop-out response. It's a friendly competition where everyone is a winner, so it's ok to pick a side. The smart money is on Brandon but who knows, Mario might pull a major upset. If anyone have been following college football, the start of the year is full of upsets.

my personal limited gastronomical experience with you two guys: brandon gave me thai curry (ding ding ding!). mario gave me ethiopian (HURL! and i promise you im the LEAST picky eater in the world, hands down).

and yeah, dont overcook anything (meat cooked past medium-rare or medium is just plain criminal) or i will instantly call you white trash (or a guatemalan redneck, lol).

meat?! meat....


hahahaha wtf. tis all about zee crab so delish!!!! that will be one of my meals.. muahahz and the other will be probably some curry chiken
