Texas is victorious!!!!!
texas wins 41 to 38 and wins teh national championship of college football!!!!!
booooo rednecks booo
GREAT GAME! Vince is the motha f'n man, earned me a nice penny. GO HORNS!
it was vince young against the world (leinert, white, bush, jarrett, smith, byrd ) and vince young won.
quite frankly, i would choose vince young over chuck norris right now .
vince young > chuck norris . FTW .
vince did carry the whole team to vitory he is just awesome. I wasn't too sure if texas would win since the defense became somewhat deficient after half time. GOOOOOOO LONGHORNS!!!!!
real story now is...will Vince Stay....he said yes already but who knows if he does leave then he will go higher than Matt which means Jets within a shot of a quality QB
i hope he stays and gets UT another championship but whatever at least USC got finally owned!!

| Originally posted by LeopoldStotch ok we'll go down the list for top 3 teams Texans, Saints, and Titans ... quite frankly, vince young could be a perfect fit for the texans .. think about young, dominick davis, and andre johnson all in one team .. that is an offense i don't want to mess with .. with the saints, i can't say, because no one wants to play for the payroll depleted saints .. they can't afford to pay their players 99 cent wendy meals nowadays .. ...with the titans, wouldn't be that bad .. a possible heir to mcnair, since mcnair keeps contemplating retirement every year ?? he is almost the same calibar mcnair was when he first came to the nfl, so fisher doesn't need to change any system ... we will see come april . |
Vince is def gon after that performance(2nd or 3rd pick?). Chuck Norris would be a nice fill in next year though.
Why the hell would the Texans pick Vince Young? David Carr is actually a pretty decent quarterback, he just needs a better O-line. You can bet your ass they're going to take Bush to take some of the heat off of Carr.
And unless some GM gets crazy, Leinart would go above Vince Young. Vince might've run all over USC, but that shit won't fly in the NFL.

| Originally posted by Mebot USC wasn't owned. They were leading for the entire second half, and the last touchdown came with 19 seconds left. It's good to know USC isn't inVINCEable. Also was Young sacked at all during the game? I think Leinart got sacked once, but I don't think Vince got tackled without throwing the ball away first... Phenomenal. |
Someone asked about the draft order, and to my knowledge, this is it:
1. Houston Texans
2. New Orleans Saints
3. Oakland Raiders
4. Green Bay Packers
5. New York Jets
6. Tenessee Titans
7. San Francisco 49ers
8. Detorit Lions
9. Buffalo Bills
10. Arizona Cardinals
11. Philadelphia Eagles
12. Cleveland Browns
13. St. Louis Rams
14. Baltimore Ravens
15. Atlanta Falcons
16. San Diego Chargers
17. Miami Dolphins
18. Dallas Cowboys
19. Minnesota Vikings
Chances are I'm wrong on several of these with the NFL's extensaive tie-breaker system, but that should roughly be the order.
