very clear

the clarity in this tunes amazing, how? i try for it all the time but can never get it. you can here every thing, its got a bit of an 80s element to it, is that a lecy guitar in the backround? i cant help but feel it gose on a bit to long at the start thougth, still i cant get over how crisp it is, how do you do it? also i think it needs a pad to fill it up a bit just to give it some feel, part from that its ok.

you did a great work on the production (i think the synth line coming around 2:45 has a too metallic touch to it) but otherwise it's sounding cool, has an old-schoolish feel to it in some parts

this isn't my favorite style but great job !

A like this tune but I think you could use two quality synths playing in the background to delve us further into the mix!

Bass synth choice seems a bit iffy, though the notes are great. The kick drum is way too processed, slow down on the EQ and Compression and see what happens.

Elements enter rather ???dunno; very bouncey sound you've got going. The hihats need something, they're too few and far between, and loose in the mix, and perhaps slightly over-compressed... it might be your limiter sucking up the dynamic range of the entire mix though.

I'm not sure if this track would be easy or fun to dance to on the floor, but I do like listening at home to the 80s vibe. 4:36, good element introduction. Arp is nice too.

Certain elements sound over-EQed and Compressed.

I like the overall idea and sound. Thanks for sharing.

Thanx for the replies. im starting to use compression more now and experimenting on alot of elements. This style is out of the blue for me but im liking the feedback.

@hardbeats100: Mastering is a thing you should study a bit in depth to if you struggle to lighten up your music...

More feedback is welcome, thanks for your words.

Nice track. It has indeed a cool retrosound with some nice 80's synth sounds. I only think it is too long now, at 5:00 you basicly start over again and you introduce allmost nothing new after that, i think you had that trance structure in mind . Overall a nice track, nice melodies and a cool 80's vibe to it but a bit too long for my taste.

Posted by BOOsTER on Jan-06-2006 20:34:

This is nice,
cool retro 80's feel and overall the production is very clean

the intro is a bit too long for my liking... :-(
sounds like a score for some 80's action series, I like it

I love the melody of the synth around 3:20 very nice

you did nicely in breaking it down the outro...

good job 9/10

Thanx Guys, i may work on the intro and long parts tomorrow and repost. Any more suggestions?

Posted by BOOsTER on Jan-07-2006 09:55:

not really it's very cool already, just some parts are too long

Posted by wavydalker on Jan-07-2006 16:14:

I like this track very much and if I heard it in a club it would be one I would get up to dance to. However, the hats sound a little too high end with a bit distortion on them. I really like thestructure and the retro feel to though. great work 8/10.....you would have got 10 if it werent for those hats

Posted by rqpeyruxvg on Jan-08-2006 09:02:

Cheers, dunno what u mean by the hats and distortion tho. Will have a new version up today guys

Posted by rqpeyruxvg on Jan-08-2006 10:45:

New version up...

this is definitely the best track i've heard from you.. plenty of energy throughout, lovely sounds too.

the only thing i don't like is the distortion @ 04:30.. that'll probably sound awful on a big system too, hehe

great track overall

Hey Terry

Very nice track you got here, wouldn't say it is electro, but it is different. THe bass is the best part, plus I like the repetitiveness as well. Mastering is also excellent. Overall a great track

DIDNT LISTEN THE UPDATED TUNE :::: BUT OLD VERSION WAS LIKE A FLY OVER /TH HEAVEN FOR ME :::: YOUR REALLY A GREAT PRODUCER :::: U#R WORKIN REALLY WELLL ::: CANT SAY ANY BAD ABOUT IT JUST PERFECT WORK

Cheers lads, iv just noticed that i have accidently deleted the track from my ftp, im in the middle of constructing a new website and must of deleted everything by mistake, i have reuploaded the full ver of the updated mix. Thankx for the great feedback.

Hey!
Sorry for not putting any feedback earlier, been a bit busy

Ok, liking the bass, the kick though is a bit too sharp maybe?
Nice bleebs. Oh nice, the bleebs are getting filtered, lovely.

I think you could lower the percussion a bit in volume.

Ah, good stuff at 2:48, digging the "synth-plucks". Nice melody, altough I'd like that with more filtered strings maybe?

A bit sudden bridge at 4:05, I'd do a bit more work on that transition.

Nice dist at 4:20

hmm, the sequence after that feels like a repetetion of the earlier parts? Maybe try to do some more variations of the same theme on the second half?

Anyway all in all it's a good tune mate, keep it up!

Cheers mate, feedback much appreciated! anyone else?

Posted by Semirk on Jan-15-2006 15:25:

Wow, great track here. One of those repetitive sounding tracks which is so addictive and doesn't need the variation. And I love those. I can't fault a thing here, wouldn't call it electro myself, does have some elements though. Awesome work.

Cheers again , any more reeviews???

Posted by Sexomatic on Jan-17-2006 02:51:

im not good at reviewing but ill try my best the track itself is not my style but its sounds very well put..great mastering..nice use of bass and soft synths that come in at 2:48 ..the intro i tihnk is a bit long?..i think. Overall track is well put together 9/10

Posted by rqpeyruxvg on Jan-17-2006 07:27:

Cheers mate, thanx for the feedback , more feedback always welcome. maybe send this out to labels which has been suggested to me outside of tranceaddict, comments???

Posted by djsphere on Jan-17-2006 08:34:

yup, nicely done, though i don't like this genere that much. bass is cool. kinda too repetitive but maybe this is how you wanted it.
