Signum news

The news is already old (14 november), but wasn't posted on the forums yet. After a really quiet 2005, it looks like 2006 will be big for Signum. I can't wait to hear their new stuff! The new 'Intro Mix' of 'What Ya Got 4 Me' is nice!

We finally found you the time to write an update....cause we've been locked up in the studio the last couple of months, and we have finished 7 new tracks.....And we are working on a new track as we speak..All tracks will be released next year.....!!!

Signum - Untitled
Signum - Hit That Note
Signum - Lifelight
Signum Feat Anita Kelsey - Watching Me (Vocal and Dub)
Signum Signal - SuperSonic
Signum Signal - What ya Got 4 Me (Intro Mix)

Just a little comment on the "What ya got 4 me" version, it's something we wanted to do for a long time.....The original melody is not in it, and it's a lot harder/techier then the original, We did not use the big riff in this version, but we've chosen to only use the strings, and the original organ melody and used that as a bassline, and that bassline is what drives the track.....It's a really abstact version....We use it in our sets as our intro track....And we have had such a great feedback from people that we decided to release it.....So it's not because we want to recycle on old track again.....;D

We've allready tested some of these new tracks and they work really well on the dancefloor.....!!!

That's it for now.....and more news will follow soon...

C Ya Out there...

Pascal & Ron

I love Signum, and can't wait to hear the new remix of What You Got for me! Coz the original tune was the first vinyl I bought when I started DJing!

Heard one of the new Signum trax on ASOT last nite. Sounded more like a SVD production than a Signum one!

Nice, I love most of their tracks and remixes. But 'Back @ Ya' and 'In your face' didn't really do much for me, so I hope their new tracks aren't like that. I'm more hoping they're tracks like The Timelord, Push Through and Come Around Again.

signum are a great act one of the best in my opinion, very original and technically good tracks.

Well, Back @ Ya and In Your Face were released under the Signum Signal alias, which they use for all the harder, techier stuff. Their new track on ASOT yesterday (SuperSonic) was also a 'Signum Signal' track. And as you can see in the first post, they have a few "normal" Signum's coming up. Let's hope they're as good as Timelord and Push Through.
