Pacha Free Admission

Got an email on the Pacha mailing list offering free admission on Friday before Midnight. I seem to recall something similar for Dec. 16th as well as the free Lawler with a nye ticket.

Taking a page from the crobar playbook?
Not enough demand in NYC for another superclub?
Trying to get people to be regulars?

doesnt' pacha offer two free tickets to anyone that joins the mailing list? i remember seeing that.

nothing wrong with offering free admission...im sure they make MORE than enough money on the drinks. also, a lot of ppl come AFTER midnight so they end up paying anyway.

At Lawler, the place was empty at midnight, but filled up quickly around 12:30-1. They're not losing much money on covers. Honestly, cover is less than the cost of 2 drinks, which if you're there before midnight, you'll probably have by midnight anyhow.

I looked at thie link, sounds cool. Keep in mind that I still love house, I just don't like it as much as trance, and can only listen to it for like 3-4 hours before I get bored

hmm true. well, believe me, Zabs is NOT boring. ahah but its a diff exp. for each person. I was a total trance and prog person until he showed up in NYC hehe - then i started branching out.

That's a pretty good set by Zabs. And definitely shows what you can expect at Pacha from him. Though, obviously, different tracks. But this set is what he's about.
