Standing [full 192kbps][trip hop/breaks]
Thought I might share some more non-trance stuff i've been doing lately. Here's a track inspired by a guitar riff recorded by Charley (Tyler C). All in all, it's a very laid back track, nothing too epic or in-your-face going on here... but fun to chill to, nonetheless. Writing the piano melody was fun in this one.
Enjoy
Hope you all like.

well i kinda like it, i guess its to not my stile to like it.
those classic flutes in the begginning of the break are nice but they have been used.. too much maybe?
great job btw!
yeah, its definitely not an "in-your-face" track, but i still love it.
great work with the piano mate, and the guitar is nice also,
i miss some more atmosphere elements from the track, but i guess you kept it minimal, still great
the tune has a great feel to it,
well done
Like the chilled, laidback style.
Only 2 small things that i would change... the BD is a liitle bit too loud imo and i think that the gated synth doesnt fit - maybe put it more in the background...
Great!
(Would have asked you if i could do a remix but i think i would have done a remix in the same chilled style and it wouldnt be a new interpretation of your tune)
Cheers S-Tune
P.S.: Maybe you like to review my new chilled tune: Thread
Hi,
I really like the square sine melodie, the drums could have a better sound imo, good athmosphere, the shackuachi is fine also, I hate when people says it sounds like enigma or sort of just because u used a shacuachi, the shakc is an ethnic isntrument form asia and enigma dont made it, just made it famous :P.
n overall, really nice ideas and stuff, I would work a bit more with panoramics, effects, it sounds kinda flat for me, other than that this is going great man
.

I see there something like Trance,RnB and IDM....
nice track,I don't like piano, coz piano makes this track more comercial...Guitar riff is well made, and I like it,Gated Pad is aweesooome....
had pleasure to listen, but this track has to much well known tembres
9.9/10
nice chunky percussion.. bassline is good too
not too fond of the synths, as they don't quite fit into this type of track.
loving the piano section at the end..
i agree with kopi on the mixdown
good track overall..
don't really know what to say on this one, but i liked the chilled style and the piano

Wouldn't really call this trip hop (for one thing, you're not from Bristol), but it's really good stuff.
That rounded square wave is pretty.
The samples at 2:15 or so really fit the mood of the track. I like that.
A very pretty track. I have nothing to say other than that. Good stuff.
Really wonderful intro. I have a thing for guitars and this sounds lovely
Good piano, good stereo image. Loving that square sound. You're very musical
Cool female chatter, all in all a nice chillout track that I really enjoyed. No constructive feedback I'm sorry
But what I think I like most about this track is the breaks parts where you have the filtered strings and guitars and it just sounds so damn lovely when you filter it up like that (like at 00:20 -> 1:00)
Keep it up!

It still stands close to much Trance-elements in the beginning. Then after a while (when the squarelead comes in), the atmosphere changes a bit. Would love to hear some strings on the background there, though. Beautiful on the piano melodies, imo. But it's shouldn't end there, yet. Great work!
thanks for the feedback guys!
i have a longer version of this track which has an intro and a very minimal beat before going into the breakdown... but i felt like that was kind of boring so i just posted the breakdown onwards
if anybody's actually interested in the longer version let me know, i'll post it up here
Sure thing, put it on and I'll give a listen
amazing stuff.
i love that piano
keep up duo...!
Thanks everybody for the comments
