"Hostel...."

saw it earlier today. I'm a huge huge horror / slasher film buff and loved it. So gory, sick and had the right balance of humor and sex. I rarely get squimish during movies and I was very uneasy during a few of the scenes...especially one involving someone's Achille's tendon. See it!

I thought the movie could have been alot better. It takes about 45 minutes for the main plot to kick in, and it's only an hour an a half. Creepy that's it's suppose to be based on something that really happens in foreign countries, but I read that the idea behind the film comes from a bunch of fabricated websites.

I am scared shitless to see this movie, no way in hell will I ever ever see it. The sickest thing in the world for me is torture, don't know how anyone can just watch it like it's nothing...

my girl is scared shitless of scary movies, the excorsist freaks her out, BUT her bf and I are making her go watch this with us haha

definitely a pretty sick and twisted flick, but i thought it was real well done...like the vintage horror of the 70s it just builds and builds for what you know is coming in the end for those poor bastards. pretty horrifying overall...definitely won't be planning any backpacking trips overseas for a while.

I wasnt extremely interested or disinterested but Ill see it just to find out what all the fuss is about. I dont have a weak stomach so I think I will be ok. Tarantino rarely disappoints IMO.
