Christ, what a hangover.. way too much scotch and grey goose last night. Heh.

I had alot of fun hanging out with Edgar V, Arturo, Mel, and a few others. Wanted to thank everyone for coming out. Great pics Mel

Anyways.. The beg was kinda wack cuz i got there around 12:30 and none of them had gone up yet. The resident dj wouldn't get off the damn decks. The best part {which i felt sorry for KT } was when the dj went from house to 3-4 hip hop/spanish songs .. to house again



haha, I also found out Edgar jams to hip hop when he was rapping along with the music. HAHA I KEED! But it was pretty funny So cool to hand out AND PARTY with Mr V \o/

KT.. srsly. I left around 4 15 and I don't think I have ever seen that deck so PACKED . You go BOY! Usually it starts dying out around that time but u still had everyone jamming and it was FUKING COLD . Props

Great times in Miami for sure!

Although it was different than i had expected... it was even better than i expected!

For starters the promoter, JoJo for Texas, is primarily a Trance promoter so i think we were all expecting to be exploring the trancier side of things, but after seeing the venue i knew that the crowd wasnt the "tranceiest"... hehe. Mattias did the favor of palying a few progg trance numbers (i.e. Andy Moor- halcyon) and he proved that as that amazing track flew over the crowds head that this crowd really just needed some dirty beats. Mattias played a great set before i went on. Jet Lag Slave killed it along with Echo!

Going on at 3am i was a bit worried i might be catching the tail end of the night but i was quite wrong. It seemed to get even busier as we headed toward Sunset! This so far was my favorite gig of 2006!! OK, its only my 2nd gig of 2006... but it was seriously an amazing night!

I want to thank JoJo & Aaron for bringing me out along with Mattias. Also, JM & Victor from Yage for allowing Jojo & Crew to set this event up. Beautiful club, I cant wait to come back. Mattias, good meeting you, keep in touch.

Edgar, good seeing you again. Thanks for the protien fueled dinner . Hopefully i will see you again soon. Arturo, good to meet you. GrooveEric & Mel, thanks for coming out to kick it with us glad you enjoyed the night.

Cant wait to come back, look forward to seeing you guys again at WMC at the latest.

Great review, couldn't of said it better regarding the night and overall experience of it.

Kenneth it was great gettin to hang out with ya bro. After hearing the set you dropped after me it was more than a pleasure to get to open for ya, as well as getting to play in Miami. I'll be back in town for WMC for sure on the 24th..if not sooner.

so glad to see this was a good night..KT has versatility along with mega talent, and its good to hear that miami was in for it... nice job KT! oh and MEL, YOU ARE DAMN FINE GRRL

Yesss.. Matthias did a great opening, really enjoyed it, and Kenneth Thomas had a superb set going.. I really died with some of the classics, the sound fitted just right on that place overlooking the skyline!! Sucked that I had to flee early but I which I could have stayed till the end.. the place had it!!!

Guys, again...I really appreciate the kind words on those who liked the opening set. When I was told I was going to be playing in Miami (alot earlier in my career than I expected to) I really had no idea what to expect. You guys have a TON of great talent in Miami that one could easily get spoiled from hearing regularly, that we do not have in Texas. As such..I definitely gave it my all and hoped most of the people with similar tastes enjoyed what I played. When I learned Edgar V was gonna be there (someone whom I gained alot of inspiration for in the past and have come to respect) I had a bit of of anxiety about the gig. After hangin with Edgar and Kenneth a bit before I was to go on, and seeing how both of em were really down to earth kinda people, I felt alot better was was able to have a good time myself.

The real credit for the night def goes to Kenneth as I really found myself wishing I had alot of the productions he was playing. IMO what woulda really topped off the night is if Edgar coulda gotten to play my slot and I coulda played the resident's. I say this cuz I missed most of Edgar's set at Spirits save for the last 3 tracks. Anyhow...thanks again for those who were able to make it out
