Smoking ..umm..something Ibiza's Children

Now I know in the past there were many posts on this but a couple of years have passed and I finally watched this documentary again tonight for the first time in a very(too) long time. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go to the trancEaddict d/l section and find 'Children of Ibiza' in the video section. It's a half an hour documentary of the island filmed by one of our very own TOTA's. I have seen about a dozen of these types of things and nothing compares to this. It's an essential for any EDM lover and even more so if you're planning to go to the island.

Glasses in the air for Evissa.

+ 1 to Kaveh aka Cyrus_King for this documentary.

The video made Ibiza seem like everyone was such a hippy, but it really wasn't that way. I was amazed at all the different people from different walks of life. There was one dude at Amnesia there maybe in his late 40s with his wife breakin it down. He could have been the CEO of some major company. That is what I love about Europe-it completely broke down Stereotypes that you make of certain people.

i remember watching that when it was first posted.
great documentary about ibiza and it was put together very well.
im dying to go to ibiza but its so damn expensive.

definately definately great piece of work, i still enjoy watching it from time to time.

Great video!

Now I want to go to Ibiza even more

Best documentary of Ibiza ??

YES, but i found it a little bit biased, it gives the impression that Ibiza is all about trance and thats not the case Ibiza is mostly house, actually the only two places that play trance are Amnesia on tuesdays and thursdays and Eden on sundays, they also play eurotrance in smaller clubs that aren't worth mentioning.

it sure is laid back over there but not hippy(well not anymore), you do occasionally find some local hippys on some of the beaches but thats about it.

100% right.
Everyone knows Europe is more laid-back, but they generally don't
remember that this is also true for the partiers.
Less ppl party as hard (drug-use, binge drink)than in N.America
or the UK for that matter - BELIEVE me this is a fact...

My hotel on my trip, unknowingly, was ENTIRELY older couples -
mostly with children. We had noise complaints EVERYday of 12.
AND, the hotel was in the same town as Space (Playa d'en Bossa),
ONLY a 3 min drive apart - NEVER would've imagined it.

I did like this video, but Ibiza's visitors are not represented here.
Ibiza's crackers are represented to a tee tho

my three fave bits... (in no particular order)

1. "as the rush comes in" plays as they drive through the town... travelling somewhere... could be anywhere...
2. "the eternal" plays as the sun sets (just beautiful)
3. "altitude (shokk remix)" club scene

simply awesome.

Posted by Izra on Jan-09-2006 14:47:

Another of my favourite parts is when J00F is telling the story about how some guy tried to order a drink from the DJ booth one time when he was spinnig!

this documentary kicks the new Panguins movie documentaries ass

Love this video, seen it maybe 50 times, only gets better

This documentary was the main driving force behind my visit to Ibiza in July '04 for 2 days.

I then returned in Aug. '04 for 10 days.
Then again Aug. '05 for the same duration.

Everytime I watch this movie, I get shivers. I really can't start to describe it. The Cafe del Mar scene is almost enough to make you cry . The scene with the guy dancing in the washroom at Manumission? Insane. The club shots, the party atmosphere, the friendly people? Perfect.

When people ask me to describe what it was like over there, I simply tell them, watch this movie and it will speak for itself.

For those debating, GO. I can't stress it enough. Screw the money. Save your cash, book your plane and GO. Believe the hype. It's THE place you want to be. (I'm not an agent for them, I just believe in it that much and had the time of my life)

He is goin back during the summer.... he should make another 1!

Posted by Tiesto4Life on Jan-10-2006 01:27:

Will be there this summer to make Ibiza's Children Part 2!!!

Hopefully Kaveh can be back for round two!

There are so many more deleted scenes that aren't included in the full version. Some of those deleted scenes are just crazy!!

Altitude-'Altitude' (S.H.O.K.K Remix)<---- Intro
Rapid Eye-'Circa Forever'(Rapid Eye Remix)

It was in the credits but I don't know, alot of people in the official review thread had reported various problems so maybe you were one of them. Good track none the less.
