West Access - Through Half Green Eyes

I just started this track today, still working out the sounds and arrangement, but here's thet start to the track. This is probably the first time I've tried adding a bassline to a track sounding some what normal, if that makes sense.

Now that I listen too it sort of reminds me of another track, hopefully not becuase its probably the only track I want to finish of mine.

Any suggestions, comments will be much appreciated

i really like your double layer bassline, it gives depth and is good for the track, the backgrounds noises (strings pads etc) is to high and doesnt stay in the background if thats where they should be, the "vocal" stuttering forward is kinda cool but maybe a tad to high to stay where it should be, maybe some delay on it?

what program are you using?

Thanks!! I'm using fl studio. Now that I've listened this morning with fresh ears, I'm going to change somethings, lower the fx sounds a bit, try to make them fit better in the mix, thanks again
