Wow lebanon by paul van dyk!
Trance.nu: Fair enough! And the best one of 2005?
Paul van Dyk: I had many great gigs in 2005, but one gig that really stood out was a gig that I played in Beirut. The event was like 12.000 people by the beach and it was an absolutely amazing party! But the surrounding circumstances made the whole thing even more special. Just the night before the party there was a big bomb explosion in Beirut. So I didnt know if it was safe for me to go, but they convinced me that I really should go. They all thanked me for coming in such an amazing way, that it made the whole evening even more special. You know, Beirut is a very young democracy and they really felt by me coming that I supported their young democracy and that I supported them on their way to peace. That obviously made the whole night even more special to me.

hernan cattaneo will be in lebanon soon with digweed and many more
that tells you how much this place is rockin right now
what armin said(sorry loolz, copyright):
I thought of Beirut as a place with a lot of violence because of the things you hear in the news.Boy was I wrong . The media can really give you a misplaced view of the world. When I arrived at the venue there were 4000 people cheering my name. And I had never been there before!! It was a fantastic party and a suburb production and I didnt want to stop playing!! The next day we went to a cafe in Beirut to eat something and the people in the cafe were singing all my songs and still dancing. "
