One reason why I hate...

Living in Mississauga...

After a great night of partying, got on the GO train to head back to Mississauga.

Fell asleep on the train. Ended up at the last stop - Burlington GO!

$55 cab ride to get back to the Miss/Oakville border.

You know you're way out of your city, when the cabbie doesn't know where Clarkson GO is...

Let me hear your public transit stories

I ended up in the Longbranch GO yard after falling asleep on the way downtown. After the train dropped people off at Union it went and parked in the Longbranch GO yard.

All of the train doors were locked and I couldn't get out. I had to press the yellow trip to trip the alarm after which they came and got me.

but on a different note

how about wanting to catch the 5:42 go train, and waiting downstairs in union, only to miss it, then wait for the 6:42, only to miss it again?

i dont know how it happened, but we missed two go trains, sitting in union station.

this happened today...had to stop for 10 minutes at cooksville GO stop (square one) bc there was a "pedestrian standing in the middle of the tracks and we are waiting for the police to remove him from there" lol

my question is ----> was this guy trying to make the headlines??

haha... this happend to me too. Only it was at the old Wilson Subway station before there was a Downsview Station. It was the last train North and I ended up in the train yard. I just opened the door where u walk from car-car...and hopped out, a TTC worker spotted me and thought I was up to no good but when I explained to him what had happend he just showed me the way out.

lolz i was suppose to get off at Jacksonville which is kinda like a hub for Amtrack lolz and from there i was to take another train to go to New Orleans for sugar bowl 2002. Well the coach i was in, was hooked up to a train going to San Antonio and i woke up just around Houston when the Guard came checking for tickets... about 11 hours of peaceful sleep. I was pretty drunk due to new years festivities and i had thought well i will take the train and relax for a while and be in good shape when i get to the Superdome. Yea right.

fuck that I can fall asleep anywhere. I use to fall asleep in the car ride to work all the time while my buddy had his stereo in his car full blast...

I always sleep on the subway and end up waking up one stop before where I gotta go. Except one time, was going to work @ st andrew station....slept thru woke up at museum, so went back south, slept again, woke up at King (d'oh!) and then finally stayed awake and got off at st andrew....10 minutes late :S

No one woke us up in Burlington. If I hadn't waken up, I bet we would have ended up in a GO yard at 2 in the morning.

i used to feel pretty bad back in 2004 & 05' when the zone used close at 6am.. me and a couple of friends would keep the party going on in the subway all sketched out with sunglasses and bottles of water.. all the kids were sitting right in front of us ready to hit school while we were laughing our asses.. man. taking the subway on a monday morning after the zone was way too sketchy..

the worst thing was that we had to go all the way from the zone to finch and bathrust..

one time i got on the subway from finch station heading south(and finch station is the last stop north until it switches south), anyway me and this other guy get on to find a guy sleeping, we look at each other and leave him sleeping, the lights starts flashing as the train prepares to head back south, the guy starts waking up with a smile on his face not relizing that we're at the last stop, the bell rings as it closes its doors and i scream "its finch station" he jumped and ran out so fast that he didnt even look back or question.

First time I went to CoZo after Global Gathering, I was really sketchy and fell asleep with one eye still open lol....so yea I left the Zone around 2 pm and I feel asleep on the bench waiting for the subway at Spadina Station. After 10 mins I wake up with everyone staring at me in the train like I was some kind of freak (I was probably asleep with one eye still open again lol.) So I got into the train and fell asleep once again only to wake up at Keele Station (was supposed to get off at Lansdowne.) So I took the reverse train, fell asleep again and woke up at Greenwood After constantly falling asleep and waking up I finally got home around 4:30 LOL

when i went to highschool in toronto. I had to take the lakeshore go from sauga. Fell asleep and missed my stop more then once .
