King I Need A Frickin Satoshi & Behrouz Review!!!

Help me out I didnt go how was Satoshi? Behrouz rock it like usual

sorry for this delayed review..

it was great!! satoshi rocked the place, it was pretty packed (the usual mixed crowd of fobs, guidos, a weirdo here and there and then some normal folks.) by then end of satoshi's set @ 3, he was up to ~138bpm, i was like behrouz usually starts out somewhere around 125 so it was a bit of a problem! the floor started clearing out when behrouz went on, unfortunately and i was really sleepy so i left around 3:30 anyways. satoshi was a hard set to follow up- he placed some awesome tunes cuz he knew the crowd wanted to dance, not warm up to some deep and groovy prog that he's usually known for.. i remember hearing a fucking wicked remix of royksopp - 49 percent and some crazy remix of radiohead. i dunno, i was le crunk'd.

his mixing is so unreal!!! i have to make it a point to see him every time he plays. he's fucking awesome.

138 bpm?!! Thats trance territory.

They also had the booth set up on the VIP area on the 2nd floor rather than the stage. That was annoying.

We got there around 1:30, so I don't know what we missed beforehand, but Satoshi was playing Coldplay - Talk (?? Remix) when we walked in. Both of them played a lot of recognizable tracks that I hear out a lot, but I can't think of names off the top of my head. We stayed until about 5, when barosoap was complaining that she wasn't having fun anymore, so we left. It was just getting a bit too guido crackden-ish by that point.

I think it was, but i haven't heard the max graham one that's supposedly really good. I could see Satoshi playing that, too, based on some of graham's other stuff.

you sure you were at Crobar?

He started off with some dark prog then went straight into deep dark prog house.

i'm talking about towards the end of his set. overall, he doesn't play like that- he was playing bigger hits and faster on purpose, cuz he knows the crowd @ crobar
