Let's make a sticky about Discogs!!

There are a huge amount of threads these days asking for info about a tune/artist/remixer etc. I am petitioning the mods to make a sticky about discogs - for noobs, discogs is your friend. it has almost every genre covered, and lists tunes/artists/albums etc, and everything is cross referenced. it is by far the most comprehensive database of music info, and relies on continuous contributions from its' members

Instead of a stickie, the admins could add a disclaimer reminding the poster to check DISCOGS first. Might work!

Just let users have a 'vote to ban' system.

Every post has a button next to it which everyone can click.... 10 clicks and the poster is banned. Would solve a lot of problems IMO.

I'm not anywhere near moderator status and I know how bad that idea is.

Discogs isnt exactly 100% prefect, its gotten quite alot of things wrong . Mainly because of half of the users that submit releases
