Gabe Alyssa and I just got back. Big Mike is on his way home now. Great kick ass night from begining to end. Pix soon to come.

what a fun night! it was soo good seeing everyone out...mike, lyss, drew, & gabe: it was a pleasure hanging out with you guys all night! i feel bad because i didn't really get to say bye to ya'll but i hope you had a fun time nonetheless. mike, i had a blast chillin with you...you are a true sweetheart!

love to my girl beth...hehe...we are true dj whores! no one can do it like we do. we are def DC celebrities!!! amanda & jonathan, i'm glad you guys made it out for a little bit. and i'm def thinking about changing my handle to houseyes...haha. claudia, it was so good to see you again and you are a true party girl like us. hope your boyfriend wasn't too scared with all our antics! haha

it was my first time seeing menno and i must say i was very impressed! even though i am a house junkie now, i can still appreciate a GOOD trance set. menno, sorry you had to deal with that bullshit at the afterparty but at least we got you in and got to party a little bit. i hope crazy koon with his directions got you home okay! hehehe..i gotta say you were a great sport staying out all night. hope DC showed you a good time! <3

I had a great night. Jav D's set was great with a lot of sweet tracks (Tracking Treasure Down, Playmo, Without You Near, etc.). Menno's set was a joyride from beginning to end. Sucks that it wasn't that long cuz Love closed down at like 3:15.

After being at Fur so many times, I have to say the atmosphere was such a great improvement. Actually having room to dance is nice. Everyone, excepting the Love bouncers at the end, were chill too which was nice.

I was the 5'8" dude with dirty blonde hair, glases, and a black shirt with thin multicolor stripes. Since I'm mostly a lurker I didn't feel like being creepy and introducing myself.

Big thanks to Jav D for the passes and putting such a sweet night together and to Menno for gracing our fair city with his presence and for the promo.

BTW - Erin, how was the loft compared to what it was before? From the looks of those pics it didn't seem to be at all crowded, which I'm sure was a nice change compared to previous events where you could barely move.

Anyway, it's good to know that you guys had such a great time.

OK, here is my review.
Got to DC at around 10 pm and headed down to Fur to say hi to some people. Mike and I left to Love at around 12:30. As usual Jav played a great set, making me jump as soon as I walked in. Very excited to see people I hadn't seen in a while; Erin, Koon, Mike, Jav, etc, etc, etc. It was great to finally party with Beth (girl, it was an honour! We should do it again soon!) and to see Lyss, Drew and Gabe. Also it was nice to meet people I hadn't before. Menno played an amazing set, thank you for your beats! Thanx Jav, for throwing such an amazing party.
At the end of Menno's set, Beth & Erin (now renamed "the ELITEST") HAD TO kidnap Menno and bring him with us for the afterparty @ Fur. As usual, it was a problem to get in, but we finally did... Thanx for the beer!
When we left, we were given a priceless tour of Northern Virginia, courtesy of Koon & Erin (LOL!), and went for breakfast, after that, we searched for Jav's OLD ADDRESS FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS! Menno, u know we will not let u forget that!!
Finally caught the China Bus @ 11.45 am after going looking for a Giant ("The Quality Food People") for over an hour to use the bathroom and get some cans of Rockstar. Thanx Koon for driving us back to DC! It was great to party with my crazy DC friends, luv ya guys. <3
Erin & Beth, we def have to party together again soon! Like rockstars

yeah Menno IS a giant -- over 6 feet tall (or maybe it just seemed like that since im a shorty ) but neway, yeah everyone summed up the night in their posts...all i gotta say is that Drew made this trip to DC in 3.5 hours from NYC despite traffic and intial rain...in fact we were at LOVE around 8:53pm waiting for doors to open. Other memorable moments of the night, seeing all the DC heads...Gabe getting CRUNKED and dancing his ass off happily nonstop (awww) and us getting to meet Menno -- thanks for the cd and the autographs -- a really friendly and personable dj with IMPECCABLE mixing skills. all i know is that i was MADD sober and this def ranks up there as one of the best times I ever had ~~

Tracklisting anyone? i wouldnt' know but it was pounding trance from start to finish thats for sure, some old skool tracks thrown in too -- too bad the party ended early, he only got to spin 1.5 hours or so...(party ended at 3am ) but lemem tell u, hes probably one of my fav trance djs now~ ;D


one thing for certain, MENNO: you need to get to NYC somehow. There would def be an audience for you, that's for sure. And you'd get the time that you deserve on the decks


neways Gabe came back to Queens wid us, and is STILL here...woke up at 4:30PM and went to eat breakfast at 6pm

OMG!!! What a freaking amazing night and morning!!!! It was great seeing my lovely New Yorkers!!! ALWAYS a pleasure partying with you all! Aww Claudia awesome FINALLY meeting you!!! You are deff up to parr with Erin and I hahaha Awesome seeing all the usual suspects out The night would not have been the same w/o you guys!!

Jav played an awesome set as ALWAYS thx for a wonderful party babe!! It was deff TOO long since i had partied with ya!! I missed YOU!!

Menno! WOW! What can I say!!! It was a pleasure!!! Partying at the after hour party was fun as hell too! Sorry for the incident in the beginning but the important thing is we got in! (sorry i dont drink beer! haha) Haha and like Claudia said, we cannot let u live down our little scavenger hunt!! hahaha DEFF great times!! Thx soo much for the headphones and thx SOOOO much for the Vinyl you gave my lil one Starting her off early You deff rocked it out last night and it was awesome hanging out with you today!! Send my love and kisses to your gf! She is such a hottie And Dick and Jane were TOO funny! I deff think it was a better choice than Hostel!! hahaha

You have to give the guy some credit. IMO, that was pretty good!

DC did have a vote for medical marijuana - and it would have passed if it wasn't for the few conservatives who voiding it (or whatever they did to throw it out.)
