Alex P & Tall Paul... this Saturday

I was told that Alex P and Tall Paul are coming to Van this Saturday. They are going to be at The Penthouse Stripclub on Seymour(I think) Now I haven't heard anything else and why a run down strip-club I don't know. A buddy of mine told me about this and he got me a ticket already. If I find out more I'll post it.

well..I know tall paul is here in Calgary on a snowboarding vacation...a local promoter heard this, and contacted him, now hes doing a Friday the 18th show here...so it could be true that hes in VC on the 19th

hmmmmm. man that sound pretty sketchy. I dont know how the hell they could afford to have thost two play there. Plus there is nothing listed on clubvibes or anywhere else about that. those two get mad publicity when they come to Van.

The Penthouse is disgusting they whore out the girls there.

Your right it does sound sketchy but a very reliable source told me this and he got me a ticket. It is not a big venue so maybe that's why there's no advertising. Maybe try calling the penthouse to see if this is going on.

Well it's still possible. I really don't want to sound like a I making shit up. Alex P be there before or after his set, Tall Paul come in earlier. I don't think I would even call this an event anyway. Jay C told me this so I guess I'll find out Saturday!

I wouldn't even go to that place if they weren't supposed to be there. I was going to a strip club I would go to Brandi's, now that a classy joint.

Well the flyer was wrong there Kko. Alex P and Andy Manston were at the penthouse.(Which looked alot classier than some of the clubs I have been to down town) I saw Tall Paul there having some drinks back stage but I don't know if he spun because I had to leave around 1:00 because 5L mustangs and snow don't mix.

Overall a good night the Penthouse has been cleaned up and there was some great music there.

Tall Paul definately destroyed the Warehouse in Calgary. But J_spot, I'm pretty sure he didn't play Perpetuous Dreamer - Dust Wave. I'm only going on memory but I didn't forget a single moment of my favorite DJ playing and those vocals don't remind me of anything close to what he played. Anyone else know if he did or not???
