Question Favorite and leaste favorite Jan Johnston song?

Hi guys, I've been here a while, but I never post. I am a HUGE JJ fan and I have loads of her merchandise. I was just wondering what everyone's fav JJ song is, and least fav JJ song is? Just to see if you guys share the same tastes in her music. My favorite Jan Johnston song is without a doubt Flesh. Its so old, but its one of the greatest songs I have ever heard- in any genre. My least favorite is "Raging." Because of the crap lyrics ("love, love love love loooove"). Looking forward to your responses. Though the build up in that song is sickeningly good. Although it is the worst JJ song, it is still a WICKED song as I feel she can't really make awful music. Adios.

There are too many crap Jan tracks to name. She went on a rampage of cheap commercial vocals after Venus, and what you choose as your worst will vary on personal preference. My selection would be Beachbreeze, because of its shamelessly laughable lyrics. On par with Flip & Fill.

As for favorite, I'd probably go with Mercury & Solace as her best overall performance. Flesh has a certain rawness to it that works well, but it doesn't have the silky control of Mercury & Solace. Some of what she does on Sunblind is pretty amazing too.

Oh yeah M&S is AMAZING (especially when driving or thru BIG ASS Senheisers). Sunblind's intro is breath taking: soo peaceful and her vocals just floor you. I also agree with what you said about Beachbreeze, but I feel Raging is worse. Have you guys heard the Benz and MD remix of Remember? Amazing does NOT come close to describing that song. IMO the best mix of that song available (a hard feat since there are like 500 mixes of Remember and Calling Your Name). We can't upload MP3s and link them right? Otherwise, I would gladly show you guys- those who haven't heard it.

Though maybe I shouldn't be critizing awful lyrics too harshly, since I love The Sound of Goodbye.

PVD - Nothing But You must be the worst she's ever done.

Favourite are propably Mercury & Solace and Silent Words.

I think Flesh was brilliant, her vocal on that track haunts me to this day! Least favourite would probably be Nothing But You, she doesn't use her voice to it's potential there
