-- recording off the radio
recording off the radio
hi!
i'd really like to record the old school at noon off of hot 97 during the week... also dj green lantern's radio show tuesday nights
what's the best way to do this? i don't think 97 has a stream online, does it?
thanks!

i'm 99% sure that hot 97 (like most large stations) has a stream. otherwise, youll have to hook your stereo up to your soundcard.
recording can be done w/ total recorder, soundforge, etc...
old school at noon is dope -- makes me feel old though when all the songs i listened to in high school are relegated to the lunch hour

88-96/97 is the only rap I can listen too after Gangsta Rap (the true gangsta rap) it went all downhill....what biggest two acts I guess are Eminem & 50 Cent...garbage

if you have an mp3 player that also records, like an iriver, you can just plug into the input on the mp3 device and the headphones of the radio and record. i think one of the ipods has this function. hope this helps
