Review Aria 14 janvier!

Quelle belle soir�e! Franchement je me suis rendu au Aria apres le Velvet sans aucune attentes! Il y avait pas mal de monde! S�rieusement Creator �tait malade j'ai dans�, dans� et danser... (pas le choix il faisait TELLEMENT FROID) On s'est vraiment fait du fun! y'a Jeanlucb trop saoul qui dormait sur un divan! Aria_clubber j'ai vraiment pass� de bons moments avec toi et eric le gars au lunnettes qui flash vous etes vraiment cool! Nice to meet Malek too! I tought Ninja and Enjoy were suppose to come! You missed a really cool night guys!!

first when i got in the club i was so drunk i thought i'd pass out and sleep all night at the club ! creator was so fuckn good he was playing sick tracks after sick tracks it was amazing, ( tho i'm sad he didn't play planet funk - the switch ). marco G was aweful lol, he was pretty boring. and the tech-trance dj at the end was fuckn good !!!! Anne u're the cooolest girl ever !!!

it was nice to pass the night with you. i'm happy i met malek too. eric from vermont is the funken craziest dude ever !!!

Marco G is a gem of a DJ. Perhaps you were just too drunk to appreciate him?

This is the first time i hear somebody speak about him like this and coming from you I wouldn't trust the source at all

Last Saturday was awesome... the vibe was incredible and was surprised to see that many people. I was expecting a slow January, but last sat it was rockin! Nothing compare to last year's January... so we must be doing something good ;-) I hope.

It was serious partying, people screaming and dancing non-stop. Man I just love playing there and i'm having such a blast. I can say that Aria has become a real home, feeling very good there, people are open and so generous of their energy.

I don't feel too comfortable when people compare residents against each others. I have a lot of respect for Marco and the only thing I have to say is he has been nothing but all smiles and nice since i'm there, never cranky, always in the mood to party. And he is a great Dj that always made me feel welcome to play with him, never put me in a hard spot. Surely the point here is to give our best and make a night of music has a team and share a same goal: that you enjoy your night.

your friend should know better than to make requests of an after dj.It isnt Peel Pub and the Dj has his reputation to maintain.

It cant be easy for a Dj in the middle of doing his job to cater to people who are acting a little

If Marco acted unprofessionally ofcourse I would tell him to correct his behavior. But Tag's comment was way childish and it targeted one of my DJs, I usually would not comment but his retarded conclusion just because one of his friends was requesting a track reminds me of the same thing we used to do That was retarded

Seriously though the younger people will learn after etiquette just like we all did.Aria is probably the After with the easiest access to DJ, and I have seen people try to make requests with headliners.(see the drunk girl who wanted to ask Digweed to play Traffic...i kid you not)Not everyone understands the difference between a bar dj and a club dj.

The point was not, what my friend did, and yes that was stupid imo also. Its how marco acted...but now that is even over shadowed by how zing handles himself. Its not smart to act out on ppl such as myself. Or anyone. You dont know, but my friend may bring lots of his friends to see marco g, someones night can be ruined by a dj being a prick...and that person can than resent that dj and keep tell his friends not to see him anymore...its just stupid to insult any of your clientel. Thats basically my point, and as stupid as it sounds by having you zing act this way towards me, ive made a mental note never to go see marco g ever again and most likely never see preach. All simple because of the way you acted. Of course Im only one person, but hopefully you can see past that, or maybe not.

I think that Marco G is one of the nicest, most down-to-earth guys I have ever met. He would be the last DJ on earth to get a Prima Donna *coughmax*coughgraham*cough attitude. I am sure that his "prick" attitude was just misinterpreted. I have seen it a ton of time when people come and request him to play certain tracks and he has never been anything but nice.

I am sure that he would be really sorry to hear that your friend was not pleased.

Plus one...while I was in the booth with Creator on NYE this kid kept on coming by and asking me for Creator to play Higher State of Conciousness...needless to say i just grinned and smiled and said, I"m sorry man, but I don't think he has it"....The kid smiled and then was introduced to Creator...Its always nicer to give them a friendly answer...And now he's a huge Creator fan. I think the booth @ Aria is great, not only to keep the fans closer to the DJ and be able to see them in action, but for the Dj to react to the crowd in a more intimate way. And I mean c'mon, DJs are people too, and sometimes they get tiffed like anyone else..and If they pop, so be it....they are allowed to, but it should be kept under control...we can't really comment on this because we don't have both sides of the story and like Jay said, the person asking the question was kickin' it on high gear...and most stories are exaggerated..But in my opinion, People, Djs, anyone deserves a second change, So I suggest Tag, that your friend go and say hi to Marco again, and see what the reaction is, before closing his mind, and spreading rumors of Marco being a dick.
I "heard" stories are not legitimate IMO.
