Yes i know its a low end mixer/device but hey its what igot to work with for the time being... great thing to learn on if you ask me. but my CD-A seems to be staticy and kinda garbled when playing, doesnt matter which CD and ive checked all outgoign connections. i believe the CD player itself is going bad or i hope just dusty. anyone had any experience of these things failing early? its a pretty new thing... not many hours (all home) on it. any input is much appreciated.

this is the all in one piece cd player if i'm not mistaken?

try using a run of the mill cd player lens cleaner

if that doesn't work, start thinking about doing some saving and shopping because it's on it's last legs and spending cash to service it isn't a smart investmet

i still have the cdmix1 and i think i remember having a bit problem with sound output. it had fuzzy noise or something if i remember right but it went away by itself.

if u just got the machine, i would recommend contacting numark cause it has 1 year warranty probably.
