Kinda like drum 'n' bass with testicles.

Try renting out an Ali G video: that may give you some sort of insight.

For all you Torontonian and surrounding area junglists, Sound Clash 3 is on Sat. Feb. 9 '02 ----> my b-day. Good line up for jungle and breaks.

Posted by Lilith on Jan-16-2002 04:16:

I get into some of it but I wouldnt say Im a big fan.
Aphrodite, Bad Company, DJ Krust, Dillinja, Dieselboy, Esthero, Andy C and the like are all very good artists.

a good mix to download is shimon, red one, and andy c live at wmc

also dylan and facs - live at cincinatti

glad to see other people like jungle, i love the stuff. when i just went to a big massive in seattle, with pvd, bt, etc. they all sucked so i spent the night in the jungle room instead.. mmmm bass

Posted by liquidchick on Jan-16-2002 22:43:

Yeah, jungle is alright. I'm not a big fan of it but lately I found myself liking it a lot more than I used to. My fav jungle track is Superman -- not sure if that's really what it's called though.

Posted by Excite on Jan-17-2002 04:23:

some good new trax:
Kosheen-Catch (Decoder & Substance Remix)
Klute-We R The Ones (Klute Remix)
John B-Brazil (Salsa Remix)

and two of my all time favs:
Roni Size-Brown Paper Bug (Full Vocal Mix)
Dara-Duplicity (Klute Remix)

"mmmm bass" is right, sothis.

i find you can just do so much more with 3/4 time than you can with a boring old 4/4 beat. i'm not puttin anything down here, just statin' the facts (i.m.o. of course)

mo' tracks for your breakbeat hunger:

j majik - gatekeeper
black sun empire ( ) - radiation/the silent/boogie nights
dj rap - rumble
panacea - sunburst 2001
ancronix - stamp/hyperbole >if you can find it.
technical itch - deception
dillinja - grimey
sets - anything by dieselboy, andy c, kenny ken, mampi swift...

Satan (eek!)

Hey! Stop abusing Ta.com's bandwidth. There should be a law prohibiting making your sig that BIG!!

Posted by RavingLunatic on Jan-18-2002 01:00:

I agree, it's way to big.

but it doesn't hurt TAs bandwidth, it downloads from where he got it, straight to your computer.

Posted by Excite on Jan-18-2002 08:13:

LOL, someone is obsessed with comic books!

Posted by {b.s.e.} on Jan-18-2002 22:11:

BWahah.. I was only teasing him, I know that. It's the 56k members will get killed waiting for that (well it's gone) to load up.

Just bugging ya BSE. :P

What in the damnation is going on??

Do you have antivirus?

do you have a firewall?

Did you run harddrive diagnostics to check for physical damage?

Chances are you MIGHT have a trojan (client server) installed on your system where a remote [root] control is establishted by hacker.

You can asked Bizz about the DC group after making sure your comp is safe.

Posted by {b.s.e.} on Jan-19-2002 19:13:

haha you wanna know what happened? my dad deleted them all! ya see, we just formatted my harddrive so i lost everything. then i attempted to regain my once grand collection of muzak, but some techie advised my computer-retarded father that you should 'load down your harddrive with media files'. "why?" you might ask, i might ask the same question. there's an obvious answer: the guy's a moron - no not my dad.
so yeah, my dad sees all these mp3s (750 megs or so) and deletes em all and tries to give me shit for clogging up the computer again.
bastard.

anyways.. yeah.

Posted by sothis on Jan-19-2002 20:40:

you only had 750 megs??? heh my 13 gigs is sounding all huge now. that, and my 19 gigs of anime.

you should just build your own computer yo.. my brand spanking new one (except an old video card cuz i dont play shooters) only costed about 650 dollars. of course now, two months later, its out of date.. but the concept is still the same

or just buy your own hard drive and put it in. you can get a 60 gig for about 100 or less now.

Posted by {b.s.e.} on Jan-19-2002 20:47:

yeah, no shit eh? i should buy one of those detachable hd's. i wish (the majority of) adults weren't so computer illiterate.

i could never accumulate that much music.. well.. maybe i could. but i don't think there is enough good music out there to spend my time looking for anymore.

granted, the 750 was only a few days worth of downloading... maybe i just need time. 100 bucks? ha, welcome to canada.

Posted by sothis on Jan-19-2002 20:49:

detachable hard drives (scsi) are WAY WAY WAY more expensive. youd be much better off just buying a regular hard drive and putting it in your computer (not hard at all), so then you could have your own hard drive to do stuff with.

as far as price, i get all my parts on pricewatch.com .. searches tons of stores and finds the best price. yes, it is for stores in the states, but most places online i find in general usually will ship to canada
