The 800 looks nice - Seems well thought out in terms of layout etc-

Can't wait to have a play on one and see how the new functions work out

JZ have anything to do with the design of this ????

that does look pretty bad!

Posted by ivanbee on Jan-19-2006 16:24:

the 800 looks bad ass but its kinda expensive...(1500)
i'd rather get the xone-92 for like 200 more bucks...

what kinda mixer do you use woody?

Posted by DjWoody on Jan-19-2006 19:29:

Ivan, I use a DJM3000 which is the same thing as the DJM600 without the sampler. I may replace it soon, but dunno with what. Xone 92 sounds interesting and so does the UREI Rotary.

Fully Assignable MIDI function
There are a total of 61 assignable controls. The MIDI signal can be sent from almost all knobs and switches on the surface of the DJM-800 to external midi equipment. Since the mixer can send out many MIDI signals, it can be used as a flexible interface to music software or hardware such as Ableton Live or EDIROL V-4 Video Mixer.
Rotary Volume Knobs Available (optional)

My Xone is gorgeous thank you very much!

That DJM400 looks really nice for traveling, esp. with those CDJ200s. My DJM600&CDJ800s are too big, maybe I can downsize and pocket some cash!

Nice Mixers but why does djdeals.com keep changing the pics like they can't show them or something.

Yea I think thats one of the major issues that pioneer has with its mixers (in the past), sound quality isnt comparable with A&H and Ecler, even when I tried the X-9 tascam, it blew pioneer away...I hope pioneer worked on that

Did you guys read the specs? SOUND QUALITY HAS BEEN IMPROVED!!!!

Yeah, and read product descriptions for a DJM-600...it always says "Premium Sound". I'll believe it when I hear it.

For $1500 they better have. Otherwise it's just a DJM-500 with a couple new features and digital capacity. At least they are features the Xone 92 doesn't have so it's unique in that way. I'm sure this mixer will sell well and end up in many DJ booths like the 500 and 600 did. Too many booths actually. I'd rather see more Allen & Heaths around. Oh and your club's booth ain't shit if it doesn't have CDJ1000s in it. (hint, hint promoters)

You'll be surprised how many clubs I've played at to that don't have CDJs or any CD Players at all. Or if they do, they have shitty ones. Best CD Setup I've played it, is at my current Residency XALOS! They don't have CDJ1000's, but they make up for it with their two PIONEER DVJ X1'!!! :-D.. Those are fucken sweet! I love them. They also have a RANE Rotary 2016 (which they never use, I don't know why), a Pioneer DJM 3000, some Denon's Dual deck CD Players, and a custom built sound system.
