New Supersaw synth
Roland is going to release a new synth very soon, if they haven't allready done it. The SH-201 seems like a cheap version of the JP-8000. The nice thing is that it can be used as a VST through a USB cable.

looks like it's the successor of the SH32 which btw. sounds only far away like a JP-80X0 afaik it's a sample based synth..
and just to stop the supersaw hype.. you can get decent supersaws from software synths which could sound warmer, wider, .. than the one on the JP..
my supersaws doesn't come alot from my JP anymore.
yep it has Roland's famous supersaw waveform

Supersaws don't titillate me quite so much. I'm more interested in what exactly is supposed to be possible with that ext in and the d-beam.

| USB Connectivity Connect the SH-201 to a computer (Mac or PC) with one simple USB cable. Send and receive MIDI and audio through the USB port. Take advantage of the VSTi editing software thats included with the SH-201 to manipulate sounds from your computer, and to save/organize patches remotely. |
