I can't believe he's still on this level at the age of 39 (not sure if he's 40)

Posted by zoric on Jan-19-2006 22:55:

This thread includes Copa del Rey too, But how come that Deportivo won when Duscher got sent off? I'm guessing they defended themselves while Valencia attacked for a goal, and then the counterattacks of Depor. came and a goal was made.

Love when this happens in football

Posted by Ian on Jan-19-2006 22:57:

Valencia didn't make much for David Villa, plus played a 3rd choice keeper who was pretty shit tbf. Depor got a penalty, and as often happens the 10 men did better

Posted by zoric on Jan-19-2006 23:11:

OK, Thanks for the review, Couldn't watch the match tonight.

Sorry man. I've got a test in a couple of hours and I have to get some sleep before taking it.

ATLETICO DE MADRID FTW (Even though we suck)

Posted by zoric on Jan-21-2006 14:31:

Pre-match info about Real Zaragoza vs. Atltico de Madrid:

Zaragoza and Atltico played eachother in the cup on earlier this week, on the Wednesday. Real Zaragoza started out very well and took the lead with 2 goals, Atltico started playing much better and scored a goal later on in the 32nd minute, Mateja Kezman found the goal after his injury, He's first match from start since the injury. Galletti scored the second goal for Atltico and they were even with Zaragoza on La Romareda.

They deserved to score another goal, but just couldn't score it and the match finished equal, 2-2 (First leg: 0-1 on Vincente Calderon).

Btw, Leo Franco is in Madrid now after he's fathers funeral, He's probably not going too play.

Starting Elevens:

Real Zaragoza:

1 C. Snchez
14 L. Ponzio
22 D. Milito
5 lvaro
12 D. Toledo
18 scar
16 A. Celades
21 A. Zapater
10 Svio
22 D. Milito
17 H. Ewerthon

Atltico de Madrid:

30 I. Falcn
2 J. Velasco
22 . Pablo
5 J. Garca Calvo
3 A. Lpez
7 L. Galletti
23 P. Luccin
17 M. Petrov
8 A. Ibagaza
10 M. Kezman
9 F. Torres

Posted by zoric on Jan-21-2006 19:57:

The first half between Real Zaragoza and Atltico de Madrid has been nothing more than ok. Real Zaragoza started out best and Ewerthon had a chance to score a goal in the beginning, later on there was a good chance for Atltico and Maxi Rodriguez scored 0-1 at La Romareda after coming in from his right side, He shot the ball which came under the goalkeeper's arm and got into the middle of the goal, 1-0 Atltico!

Real Zaragoza is playing better in my oppinion and has got much more ball than Atlti. Atltico's midfield has too keep on working as hard as they're doing.

Posted by zoric on Jan-21-2006 21:03:

Second Half:

Zaragoza didn't try anything in the first 10-15 minutes and Atlti got a penalty which Fernando Torres scored in his brand new haircut, It's so gay.

Anyways, Zaragoza tried too create something, but couldn't do a shit!

ATLETI ATLETI ATLETI!!!!!!!!!!!
