Places to live
I've always lived in New England but I'm giving serious thought to moving to another area in the US. So I wanted to get a sampling of what ppl think of their current location, where they would like to move and why.
I'm currently living out in the country. what I don't like is that there aren't a lot of social/economic opportunities for younger single ppl and the weather sux. What I do like is that's there is no crime. I mean you can leave your car and house unlocked and not worry. People here respect one another's property. I've left my wallet at a restaurant and come back to find it returned without dollar missing. You can go for a walk at night and not have to worry about your safety.
I know you can't have your cake and eat it too. Cities provide a vibrant life I just don't care for the crime and lack of respect you seem to always get in the city.
Anyways I have my eye on San Diego. I've gone out on vacation there, the weather is sweet and lots of fun things to do. Unfortunately expensive, lots of traffic, and that socal life style.
Live in NJ, beautiful stuff is around here.
vegas sucks, don't come here.

i could never see myself in vegas. too flat. no trees. i loath commercialism and gambling. i know i shouldnt judge it to harshly because i have no first hand experience.
sorry mrya and others no way am i moving farther north.
some other choices might be seattle, atl, north carolina
Move to south jersey... pinelands
its not flat, its a valley surrounded by mountains.

but ur spot on with the other stuff.

hmmmm how about north or northwest chicago? more people and social life, same weather as NE, not too much crime in the northern and western parts, close to water, has some big clubs, lot of jobs, city isn't as hectic as NY, cost of living is high but not stupid.
Charlotte - Loved this city. Sucks for any EDM music but its easy to get around, lot of people and singles, 4hrs to ATL, good sports town, major airport hub, good weather, houses are still pretty cheap, crime isn't bad, some nice lakes.
k thats it till i think of anything else

san diego is actually a badass place to live. The weather is perfect and you are only like 1.5 hours out of LA. but its kinda expensive ot live there. Same with San Fran, great place, and you don't need a car, but its expensive.

I always wondered what is in deleware, we pass by it so fast on 95
I have to say I like where I live in PA. It's an hour from NYC by train, a half an hour to Philly by car and about 50 minutes to the Jersey shore by car.
I've only been here about 6 months but, the area where I live (Langhorne, PA) and spend most of my time (Newtown, PA) is very nice. Newtown is what I would consider an upper-scale community. It's pretty expensive (I pay $1100 for a one bedroom apt!
) but I am very happy with my neighbors and amenities that are close.
ive considered going somewhere myself once i have my career in order, and SD has crossed my mind as well.
also, i'd suggest for you VANCOUVER. yeah its in Canada, buts still cool.

California...Ive lived in both north and south....besides traffic, socal owns norcal. There is so much to do....there is only like 2 weeks it rains and the rest is 80 degrees with another 2 weeks of 100 degree weather...totally comfortable. The people are way mre friendly in norcal (not to say socal is mean but less friendly) As a young person socal has a way better ratio of female to male. In norcal female that would be concidered a "9" is only a "7" here...
