Numark CDN-35 users - any info please!!!
anyone using/used a CDN-35 cd-player please write something about it. i cant find any technical specifications goddamnit!
i mean min pitch increment (like 0.1 or 0.02%), reliability, CD-RW compatability, overall quality
pls pls pls
pitch increment is 0.1%. sucks for mixing any EDM.
play/pause/stop not very responsive. expect a half-second delay after pushing play before the track actually starts.
basically, it's a waste of money. i got sucked into buying a cheap pair of dual cd decks, and while they're fine for mixing hip-hop for mobile use, they absolutely suck for EDM.
0.1%? looks like its true. these creeps from numark told me the following:

Hello,
The CDN 35 plays CD-RW. The stutter button is used to start the music
from the point that you set a cue position. The Min pitch slider grade would
be 0.02%. A detailed PDF is attached.
hm....smells like shit
yeah, whoever told you that about the pitch is lying. it's 0.1%, not 0.02%
I have the CDN34s from back in the day. I'm assuming they're the old version of the 35s. They're not the worst cd players out there. Mine get the job done but anything from denon/ pioneer would blow them out of the water. I would try to find some denon DN4000s or the 2600Fs. Unless you're buying these Numarks off of a friend for next to nothing, save your money and find something nicer.
i thought alot...
i was choosing between a CDN-35 and 2 x CDJ-100 but now i hope to earn some cash and purchase 2 x CDJ-200. ive got a Numark DM1050 mixer and Technics DJ1210 headphones, so i need the last pieces
indeed. the cdj-200's would be a very wise choice!
don't be cheap- you'll kick yourself for it later.

How are those new stanton cd players.
They dont look too bad but we need a brave TA to go and pioneer them for us.

These two, they look good on paper but who knows how they realy work.
C.304
C.303

I played around with the C.304 at a store for a few minutes, and was impressed. Haven't properly mixed on them though, so who knows
Just out of curiosity, how do you feel your CDJ-200's compare to 800's or MK2's. I want to make the move to CD, so obviously I'd love to pick up MK2's, but is it worth it?
Also I'm really considering the C.304's. Like you said, on paper they seem good, and I've used STR8-100's, and the new T.80's and T.120's before. All good products. So if the C.304's follow that trend, they are a possibilty too.
If i buy cdjs i think ill try the stantons.
But first im gonna buy some production equip.
If you buy the stanton cd players make sure to give us a full detailed review.
