Hey peepz... I had to start this thread cuz none of my friends follow soccer at all and so I hope some of you guyz are into it (specially if you live in europe)... Anywhoo I wanna know what team you're rooting for in the biggest tournament at the moment, the UEFA champions league or even the UEFA cup...

Me I gotta be patriotic and cheer for Galatasaray, but I like the Italians just as much and hope AC Milan will win, even tho we're in the same group at the moment...

I'm sorry, but you know how I feel about galatasaray. I hate their players, I hate the luck they always seem to have, and most of all: I HATE HAGI.
That guy should have retired 15 years ago. He needs to be substituted after 20 minutes cuz his feat can't carry his ego anymore...

Anyways, I follow Manchester Utd. It just stinks that they are out of form lately, but it's still the #1 team for me.

Guess I'll see you on Napster or ICQ someday soon.

I am a fan of AFC Ajax Amsterdam, you know, that dutch footballteam that totally sucks on this moment but that'll be in the top of europe within 5 years. Tonight PSV Eindhoven against Parma, what will it be............???

COME ON THE 'POOL. I'm a massive Liverpool fan and with a 2-0 lead over Roma from the first leg and tonights leg at Anfield, i'm praying we manage to go through to the next round.

Hey Dwingo, do yo remember that great game recently where liverpool played man U of the pitch. They should have been beat on Tuesday in the champions league as well.

So now i would have to say Man U are pretty damn good

Not a great follower but I have my favs:

Firstly I love watching the Dutch national team play

Holland: Ajax
Spain: Barcelona
Italy: AC Milan
England: Arsenal
Australia: Adelaide City

Half my family (dad's side) is Dutch so I kinda had it drummed into me - now I just like them. You can prolly tell from the dutch content of some of these teams (I remember Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit and Frank Rijkard in AC Milan - that was fun to watch!!!)

I frikken hate man utd!! i dont follow any of the teams in the champions league at the moment, im a die hard forest fan... commence piss-take now...

I hate Juve, if u enjoy teams that allways win with 1-0, than I can understand you like that gang of loosers. They got eliminated from the champions league allready after the first round this year. That's bad. And whenever a player is injured - they're f*cked, they just can't do it.
But look at Real Madrid, they can play with any combination at all, they'll win even with their B-team.

I love Real Madrid.

I also hate Man.Utd. , they are way too overrated....

They were a good team with european standards like 6-7 years ago, but today they are just a team having big troubles staying on the upper half of the dutch league table.

I also hope someone saw Govou's (Lyon) two goals against Bayern Munchen last week.

But Real is def.my favourite,they play at Anderlecht right(not so far from where i live) now,but I didn't went,too bad!
To my opinion Anderlecht did it well,they are the first here in the Belgian competition,and they made it to this point in the champion's league,and they handled it pretty well(declare me nuts,but hey we're not so spoiled on a chance in the champion's league!)

Why can't you support a club, even when they are going through a bad period?

If you used to support Ajax, and you're not doing so now, you've never been a fan (just giving an example).

What's wrong with Man U anyways?
Is it that they have a good system (not spending lots of money on superstars but raising talents themselves) which obviously no other team has; or is it that they keep on kicking you asses?

AHEM.. u talkin to a forest fan here.. the reason i hate man utd is long back in history when forest were good man utd always always always stole our best players for loads of money... and the funny thing was when they got to man utd they were shit i also hate alex ferguson, when is he going to change that peice of gum in his mouth???

unfortunatly he's right about the man u youth system, it is a good one (beckham, scholes, neville etc) unfortunatly they also have the money to buy who the fuck they want. Thats why they are currently the best team in the world (i hate them so much and i hate saying that too, but its true) they have strength in depth like no-one else. they take off yorke and cole.... who d they bring on? sheringham and solskjllkgjkgfg (however the fuck u spell his name its too early for that...)

I am beginning to like the Australians, Holland is going to be the next world champion for sure (if they qualify, they are not doing so great al the moment)

And Yeah, I am for Ajax, I'm not going to switch to another team just because they are not playing very well. BTW: they are 3rd in the Dutch league at this moment, and within 5 years they are going to rock the world again with great football again like 6-7 years ago, they have got great talents!!

Maybe you're right tu_face, about history, but that doesn't mean shit to me. I've admired Man Utd since that day they won from Bayern in the Champions League final (maybe because I hate German football (and especially that Lothar Matheus dude)) and I have been ever since

You people are quite strange you don't seem to support just one team well apart from Tu_face, and well honestly he might as well not support anyone(joke!). Do you people not like have a loyalty to just one club instead of liking a team because they're doing well in the champions league or something.

Heheh forest may be shit at the moment but in 5 years time we will be up there with the best of them (our youth side is stunning, they beat man utd youths 4-0 the other week...

I noticed that too, most english men (and a couple of those irish divvies agi heheh...) have a team and they stick to it through thick and thin.. i havent seen any evidence of that loyalty from the europeans in here.. Maybe im wrong, tell me if i am
