James Holden
Just wondering what your opinions were? i'm dl a set just now by him from Flex. Is he still playing stuff in the style of 'one for you', nothing etc? His mix of Into The Dawn is amazing!!!
Just as good as ever. A little more minimal sounding.

His new CD is gonna be solid...
I loved it when he came here
James Holden is sickkk, awesome track selection. for the mixing yeah sometime he might fucked it up but thats cuz he's too fucked up too

I find his recent sets really boring. Trying to be cool by playing minimal stuff but it rather makes you sleep.
Don't expect great stuff such as his 2002 EM or his Innercity 2001 set. those days are long gone.
^seems to be the case for a lot of artists these days... better "back in the day"
James Holden - I Have Put Out The Light.... ch00n!
Change is inevitable - he looks forward
he allways will be a part of my life...
he is THE MAN

James Holden is one of the few DJ's left that I can actually say I'm still interested in hearing. Far too many DJ's are playing the same stale, plodding dance music that every other DJ plays - you wouldn't know one from the other. James has his own style and he usually surprises you with his track selection which is rare nowadays. He is one of the few that still has a future career in electronic music.
i think he's pretty good mixer too.
like the track Josuna ryan - pistolwhip (james holden remix)
is one of my favorates'

He plays fluffy, Areal-style minimal tech-house. Quite boring.
It's weird though, 'cuz his new mixed CD seems to break off completely from the usual artists/labels. So I am looking forward to that one.
he came down here a couple of months ago.. he rocked the place.
Cant wait to see him again without the awful James Lavelle. And yes his mixing is sometimes off, but when its on there are few that can match him.
