Darude vs Robert Miles?

There's a very popular mix of Sandstorm and Children named:

Darude vs Robert Miles - Children of the Sandstorm

I'm sure most of you have heard of it.

My question is, who created this song? Is it even a real song? I mean, is it one that you can purchase, or is it just something someone put together on the internet and spread around?

I'm really curious about the origins of this song, so any information would be great.

It's OK I guess, certainly one of the best things you hear in commercial nightclubs.

I still wouldn't take it particularly seriously though, it's hardly ingenius.

Yeah, I heard that one, there's loads of them going around like Darude vs ATB - Sandstorm In The Summer and I don't know if it's by the same guy or not but there's Paul van Dyk vs Robert Miles - For The Children Paul van Dyk vs Delrium - Silent Angel. Just wondering if any of them are legit mixes or are they all just cheap mash ups?

As one who has two main releases from Darude, it's way overdue that they let Sandstorm relax and not be churned like that. but, if some of Tiesto's stuff can still be brought back from the dead then anything can. Honestly there's equally good if not better stuff Darude's released on the same CD or on the Rush Cd... *sigh*
