I do not why but for some reason after months maybe even years of hatred towards P.O. I find my self helplessly in love with his first cd's, including tranceport I can not stand his new stuff, but the old PO is my new idle

I know he's spun some shite recently, but that liveset from the Gatecrasher NEC last October has some crankin' moments in it.

his '99 trance sets really are trance sets... they take me places. Favorites include the '99 Gatecrasher & '99 Home @ Space... those two... damn. never get old.

and no, he hasn't lost his touch. All his sets recently have been totally different, from breaks to prog. house... he still takes you on a journey, just no longer trance. But we can't hate for that can we?

yes indeed.....I loved oakenfold from 98 99......his EM tour is THE SHIT... those are my favorite EM's of all time... i miss that melodic progressive style of trance... i dont know wtf happened to him now, but oldskool Oaky was best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last october gatecrasher...he spinned a hot rare remix of insigma back to back with the original...Anyone know which one wuz it?

His remixes of indie/rock type tunes show a lot of talent, although they AREN't that amazing. But If I was him I wouldn't be complainng considering he gets �50,000 per remix!!!

Oakey is one of trance's royal blood. He always has kicked ass, and he still does kick ass! I agree on the ppk comment though, thats dippin into the CHEESE sauce. But overall he still kicks ass!

His GU: Oslo CD is actually pretty good. I think its better than tranceport, though - even tho the mixing is complete shit.
