Earthcore In The Park's annual extravaganza spreads its wings across five stages this year, taking in drum & bass, trance, techno, electro, hip-hop, breaks, psy and more. On the main-floor arena, trance favourites Infected Mushroom (Israel/BNE Records) are bursting at the seams with material from their forthcoming album, a combination of genre-defying live trance meets rock beats. They've just been voted #26 in the world-respected DJ Magazine poll. Continuing in journey, legendary psychedelic guru Raja Ram (Tip World), gives us a taste of just two of his many experimental projects, 1200 Mics, as well as his other-worldly, global flavoured Shpongle alter-ego with Simon Posford.
With more than a decade of contributions to the underground scene, Tip co-hort DJ Lucas is back in Oz after his awesome appearance at the Earthcore Carnival in 2004, this time rocking with a 10 Kilo breaks set.
The dnb massive are in for yet another awesome surprise, with UK's legendary DJ SS (Formation Records/UK) and his vocalist Warren G joining Hungarian production wizard Chris Su (Hospital/Subtitles) and Norway's Future Prophecies on the rinse out stage. On a similar tip, Australia's leading hip-hop production house Elefant Traks present the hip-hop and downbeat stage with The Herd, Hermitude, TZU and more.
Tech/electro/ambient heads get satisfaction courtesy of Electribe Green Zone, while the Smile Police and G.O.D present Ilogik (UK) in the rave and hard dance area. Ending the summer season on a high, Earthcore In The Park brings you five stages of musical fun, art installations, market stalls, workshops, performances and other mischief to keep you rocking throughout the day and into the night. Brought to you by the crew behind the Bohemia �big-red-double-decker-bus� tours of the Earthcore Carnival, Freedom Sustainable Living & Rainbow Serpent Festival, Bohemia and Electribe's mission is to deliver the best new electronic music styles through zero emissions and sustainable power systems with a London double decker bus as the backdrop. The bus runs on bio-diesel which is essentially old cooking oil that has been processed, whilst the sound system and lighting is run from battery banks that are kept charged via solar panels and wind generators. Whenever possible we ensure that all our appearances are zero emission events.
The stage will incorporate some of Electribes resident DJs along with special guests who will play a wide variety of music from dub/ambient through electro breaks to progressive house and everything in between.

infected cashboom havent done much of late, but rather go see them at their club gig, ec in the park is always a lot of fun in the sun, might give this one a miss

early on pics... crowd picked up later on too... was a TOTAL lack of psy during the day..
arrival had like panjabi stuff that was on tv n stuff O_o in the main stage.. and then poopy poos.. LACK OF PSY. RARAR
(you could smell psy, but not hear it )
sniffer dog! funny to watch it run up to ppl and try poke its nose in ppl pockets (ie it's found something!!)
then come z police... and do a search.. they seemed to have fun searching ppl's pockets and bags and even SHOES!
quite a few furries around..
cats and bunnies seem to be popular, dunno how many were ACTUAL furries
but im counting these 2 bunnies are! :O
hard trance.. ARGH... early on had some ~ old school set, caught about 2 mins of it..
instant moments, luvstruck... eh.. but not today.. please 
we called this the hippy bus... no psy here just laid back, stuff
(they might say it's psy, but come on... NOES)...
it's like ppl from the lord of the rings or some shit! dancin in the trees

this is like 5 mins just before infected about to come on.. so all of a sudden everyone scrambled from all over to the main stage ...
and they lockded it out no one could get in AT ALL cos it got full, hence line..
except the line was pointless cos no one getting let in
line on the otherside... same kinda length...
the only way in was to jump up over and onto z stage.. quite a few made it, and quite a few ppl got grabbed by security -
grabbed by the back of the shirt, legs, jumped on, grabbed by the neck, and in some instances security would jump up over the stage too and pursue :O
never the less, DEFINITELY worth it (har har z body is faster than distracted security guard) the atmosphere up there was incredible! (thankfully, made up for the poop during the day) *must show video*

crowd loved it, and hell atmosphere was crazy shit
cities of the future, im the supervisor totally went off, as did i wish (probably more than anything!), which went on for like 10 minutes! :O ...
but my god, so many of their songs sound the same... O_o and .. well... get over fucking guitar for a start? :/
never the less, was still enjoyable.. the atmosphere made a huge difference! altho cos was pretty packed on the stage, not a whole lot of room for stompin, but could make do

back at the hippy bus near the end, and fucking finally there was like PSY there.. WHY NOT PLAY IT DURING THE DAY? RARARAR
and back to raja for the last 10 (what ended up being 15) mins..
after being at the hippybus it's like "ARGH EAR BLEED PSY".. but once ur back on the stage
(thankfully by then, they were letting ppl back on the stage since ppl had started to leave already and what nots..)
the atmosphere was crazies.. and he ended with like playing some iron maiden, except PSY'd up n shit..
and some panas taken during the day
