Sander Kleinenberg - My Lexicon 2006...WHY?!?!?!?!
SAMPLE
This track is pure classic
Why they must ruin it?!
welcome to 2004/5/6 nearly half of the classics have been butchered.

I was about to post a heartfelt "Noooooo!", but the sample of the remix isn't really a butchering. Certainly not like the supersaw slaughtering of other classic rereleases over the past two years.

this is the 16 bit lolitas remix of My Lexicon
Over the past 2-3-4-5 years the remaking/remixing/whatever of past hits and classics has gone way beyond the depths of hell into a verbally undescribable state. And there is no way to come back up until the whole electronic music industry stops running completely for a moment to think has all that really been necessary and then some total rebuilding would be needed.

The 16 Bit Lolitas Mix has been in DJ sets for a while. They've just decided to make it available. Nothing wrong with that I think.
Remixing a classic track for private use is okay - using it for their own sets I don't mind, but if they decide to release a remix that capitalises [and cashing in] on it's popularity, then I would agree with Ian on that I would also kill them too
I'm suprised that no one has touched the Gouryella tracks also, maybe they have gained such a god-like status that every nitwit in town knows not to lay their hands on it.

i hear very little difference between the original and the remix. you'd think 16 bit lolitas would put forth a little more creativity in this production.

Remix sounds good. Can't beat the original, but not bad.
I also think its good, 16 bit lolitas hardly do anything to dissapoint
I don't remember liking this track to begin with.
the remix is nice, nothing special.

16 Bits remix is
Nothing too special, but a solid interpretation. Haven't heard the Cass & Slide mix though. Anybody a link to a sample?
